Calm/Relaxing Music
I am trying to find some calm music to listen to these days.
I have some Moby, that is always good. What are some good solo artists out there that play nothing but acustic guitar or piano? BTW I havent been around these parts in a while...good to see everyone cool: |

check out Yo-Yo Ma. I mentioned him in ninty's thread. He's probably the best musician I've ever heard....VERY relaxing.
I uploaded some great and enjoyable chill music. It's a jazz combo from Denmark with piano, bass, and drums. http://gf1.teamwf.com/Coleman/Cinematique.zip |
Pachelbel
|
Ronny Jordan
I'm sure that's the type of music you're after - Brilliant jazz guitarist....Download his albums 'After 8' and 'Light To Dark' ....Also get a hold of Kruder & Dorfmeister, St Germain, King Kooba, Mr Scruff, Yesterdays New Quintet.... ...and Fat Freddies Drop if you like a minor dub/reggae influence - HIGHLY relaxing.... |
I don't listen to relaxing music, so I really don't have anything productive to add.
Although, I've heard that Yanni is gaytacular. |
Motown

Yeah its a great album but unfortunately I'll have to use the ol' cliche of 'give it a few listens' as first time I heard it I was like 'yeah this is good stuff but not great stuff' but over time my opinion has changed so much, their stuff is really detailed.
I went out and bought it and haven't stopped playing it since. Also I recommend downloading: Beck - Broken Drum (Boards of Canada remix) Its fantastic. Heres BoC's new downloadable video for 'Davyan Cowboy' http://www.warprecords.com/dayvancowboy/ [/big fan mode] |
Boards of Canada For sure, Sigur Ros, cafe del mar, delerium
|
TOOLs' new album "10,000 Days" will be out on 05/02/06. It should make for some easy listening......lol
