heard about this, this morning. I have him in a keeper league this year, hes the hottest prospect out there.

Man the way the story made it sound was the bat just flipped at him, but seeing that video he fucking flipped it pretty damn hard

I've played in games with umpires I would like to throw bats at, but that's completely unacceptable.

Although, having spent a lot of time around baseball bats, I know that when a bat is spinning end over end, it can look like it's moving a lot faster than it is, so I'm not sure how accurately you can determine the speed from the video.

look at the velocity, the velocity of the bat was very high. wtf? the threw it who cares how fast it was.

That struck me as funny for some reason. Anyway, you can bet your ass that a bat traveling at slow speed will still break your nose.

of course, but the guy in the video was making a big point about the velocity and how it shows that it was intentional because of how fast the bat was travelling. I'm just saying that bats look like they're going a lot faster than they are sometimes, so there is a chance that he didn't do it on purpose.

Of course, now I think he's apologized officially so it seems it was on purpose
