.....anyone going to see them this year? I'm trying to get tickets to the NY City Center show on 5/19 or 5/20. Looks like it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg on eBay.

Saw 'em in 2001. Technically, it was a great show. Otherwise, it was kinda dull. Maynard didn't even come to the front of the stage...just hung out on this platform at the back.

Still awesome though.

Saw them in '01 too. I liked the way he stayed in the background. All you saw was his silhouette.

It was quirky. Would've like to have SEEN him at least. I coulda stayed at home and listened to him...heh heh.

i saw them at varsity arena in toronto in 1994, that was an awesome show, i cant believe it was twelve years ago...

Tools new cd sucks, now the new rhcp sounds way better.

Im considering to go to Gothenburg to see them in July. They are playin at this semi-nig festival called Metaltown, with bands like Tool (duh), Soilwork, Cradle of Filth, Motörhead, Danko Jones, Opeth, etc. Should be pretty neat.

danko used to play the bar i worken in in like the late 90's...

i asked him once about listening to Black Falg, and he accused me of accusing him of copying Black Flag...
