it will be worth it, if the blu-ray players stay around that price in november

I def give sony the nod for games. I havent seen ANYTHING on 360 that I would want to play. Hell the sony games I have for ps2 are better than alot (GoW, MLB the show, etc.)

Xbox has no games... but they will. And Xbox Live is way better than PS3 Live or whatever they're calling their replica of Xbox Live. You can't really argue about consoles because, well for one it's useless. It's more of what people like in the systems, and the games. Being more of a shooter fan and a huge Halo fan I got 360 for that and all the "launch titles" that aren't coming out for another year and a half. I'm willing to give it time just for H3.

I just dont watch alot of tv to justify it. Yea I watch dvds but shit I switched the S-video cable to my ps2 since I see more benefit than my dvd player which is now hooked up to AV Cables

I'll pick up a PS3 when the price drops, which is inevitable. 600 dollars is pretty steep, even though it does have true next generation features.

LOL you wouldn't believe how gay it can get. My sister is a manager at Circuit City and she opened up on the morning the 360 came out. The parking lot was full the night before, and when she got there that morning (aboiut an hour and a half before the store opened), she set up a line, and started handing out numbers (they didn't take preorders). Their store only got about 20 units (WTF), and the guy who got card # 21 was extremely pissed when the last one was sold right before him. He happened to be one of the first people to get there the night before (at about 8:00), but didn't bother to get in the line when she set it up.

He demanded to get a 360, even though he couldn't follow the rules and get his ass in line. He started cussing out my sister. These things don't affect her at all, and she's like, "Well you didn't get in line even after I taped up a bulletin explaning what would happen. I'm sorry."

I agree, any console has shit on launch day usually. I mean GRAW, Splinter Cell Double agent, Halo 3, Madden 07, NCAA 07, Gears of War. Those are just a few games i want by this years end. I already have GRAW which is fun as shit, especially on live.

Probably gonna be yet another sony launch where they (intentionally) bullshit about a low amount of units to spark the usual buying craze, then the ones who do get one early will have to return it because of yet another faulty optical drive (sonys trademark). sleeping:

I wouldnt bother camping for it. I mean up here (washington) we had people camping out 3 - 4 days before the 360 release. Bill Gates even handed the first one out at the best buy near my house and the guy at the front of that line was there like 4 - 5 days.

I figure theres nothing you can do with a game unit on release day that i cant do a month or two later. Also im not going to pay that much for a console.

If you like blue ray and HD it is definately work it considering the cheapest player is around 1000$ and it also plays games and such I may camp out for one and put it on ebay right away, double the price atleast rock:
