Anyone here play golf? what do you play with?

I play with,
Cleveland Tour Action Iron set
Cleveland Launcher
Big Bertha 3 and 5 wood


if you think golf is gay or something and feel like posting that, just dont.

i stay away from golf because

1.) I don't have the patience to learn correctly
2.) It costs too much for me.
3.) I suck at it.

Golf is gay.










J/k, i've played it once on a disney course, don't know what i played with i just played the game with a couple of co-workers etc. it was pretty cool

Where I play its only 7 dollars for 9 holes... pretty nice course too. Also I bought all my clubs used, which was vry reasonable (considering how nice they are). Secondly, it can be extremely fun even if you are halfway decent.

lol, I was just with GW's tennis team today... (I dont think I'll get into East after the Manual thing)... good guys on that team, they all thought I played tennis though b/c my calfs are so monstrous, and my arms veiny from my frequent masturbation

Edit: I played golf about 3-4 years ago, then got bored with it. I'll play it when I'm old.

never played it but it is an intersting sport/pastime (its not really a sport, if you cant get hurt it aint a sport)

Handicap is essentially giving yourself a coushin to play at par

lets say 18 holes to play par is shooting a 72, if you played that course and shot a 90 you would have an 18 handicap.

so bleu is saying he could shoot an 83 on that course.

Actually, to calculate the true handicap you have to figure in the course rating and the Slope (another rating system for the course). The reason for this is that some courses are alot harder than others, so factoring in the difficulty rating helps even out the handicaps that are earned playing different courses. Also, you only get 96% of the differential between your score and par.

The handicap formula is: (Score - Course Rating) x 113 / Slope Rating

Then you take the differential calculated using the formula - toss out the highest ones (there is a formula for this too - if you only have five scores, you take the lowest one - if you have 20 scores you take the lowest ten, etc.)

Then you average the differentials and multiply by .96 to get the actual handicap.

Anyway i play golf whenever i get the chance with my friends, i suck, but its great fun.

What Colonel said... though my handi is closer to about 13 right now (I was a true 11 last summer, my best hdcp index ever).

My best 18 hole score is a 75. I typically shoot 79-84ish. I played 9 at a short muni course this summer and was even par. First time ever... but like Colonel said it was a reaaaaly easy course and it doesn't count for much.

I play golf sometimes...I have my Dad's old clubs...don't know shit all about handicaps or anything i just play for fun.
