This struck me as funny. Why would people be surprised? What did they do when they found out? .... "OMG, TGB is black!?! Then how come his posts are so intelligent?!" or "OMG, TGB is black!?! Then how come his posts are not written in ebonics?!" or "OMG, TGB is black!?! Then how come his posts are short and skinny like all the white guys' posts?!"

Like I said, it just struck me as funny. The great thing about teh intarnetz is that, like Dr. King dreamed, you are judged by the content of your character (as revealed in your posts) and not on the color of your skin.

I wasn't suprised because of the nature of his posts, I'm not American, and I don't really have any single african-american stereotype stuck in my head - It's more about just the general ratio of white people to black people on this forum.

I didn't mean to imply that you had any stereotypes, etc. It was just the concept itself, of alot of people being surprised to find out a poster is of a different race than they imagined, just struck me as funny.
