My Rugby team made the news!
 

Too bad its for some extreme bullshit. We were accused of underaged drinking and hazing(complete bullshit) by people that are not even on the team.

I'm so pissed off. My school told every one of us not to make this public then they sent out an all campus email which goes ot alumni, alumni who work at News stations across the world. I have a feeling that if my team gets disbanded then even more shit is going ot be made public and it wil be the end of this school. Im so fucking pissed off that someone would acuse us of this shit just as we were about to get NCAA status.

the great part is, as far as I know the hazing they are talking about is that we had some people cut some fire wood for a bon fire. annoy:
Oh and if you were disappointed about the news article, the news of this broke late this afternoon. By tomorrow nights news, it might be at least regional, and if things go out of control, national by i'll say tuesday.

I hardly think a rugby team getting accused of hazing is going to be getting national exposure after a college lacrosse team gets accused of beating a black hooker/stripper. It's just kinda heavy competition.

Im not saying the rugby team will get national exposure, Im saying that unless the school stops being biased and hating our team then people are prepared to come forward about other things going on at the school, which the administration has chosen to ignore even with very obvious evidence. Its the mass flooding of all this shit we are prepared to let loose that would most likely draw attention.

eh my school manages to make the news every other week it seems. we were just in it for a few kids passing out and going to the hospital with high alcohol levels and before that a huge fight against our rival.

hazing is humiliating an individual or group of people, usually like new team members, new frat members, freshman, etc. It involves making them do extreme shit like chug a gallon of milk outside naked, or paddling them with a 10 foot plastic dong or drink an entire keg by themselves. Some teams get really fucking extreme as I said and shove shit up dudes asses because they think its LOlz but thats when hazing gets reported because someone dies of ass blasting or alcohol poisoning

we dont do extreme stuff like that. I just read an article that was publish by the school paper where one of hte accuser gave them some info anonymously. THey are calling a bat race hazing. We all have done bat races, I did them in cub scouts, at camp this summer, in school, its a fun game that even some of the older guys took part of. Looks like our season is over.

if you did actually do hazing...you deserve it if not...that sucks ass...

Underage drinking...thats gay the age for drinking should be the year after you usually would gradulate from highschool...cuz fuck it's college why the fuck can't ya drink.

hazing takes on many forms, most people think only the "extreme" hazing is actually hazing. Basically any treatment of certain individuals that is different than others is considered hazing, it doesnt even have to be demeaning. I just had to sit through a 3 hour presentation on this shit annoy:

I had to sit through one of those. OUr presentation was about an hour and a half. BAsically hazing now can be considered anything, even having rookies get water for themselves could be hazing.
