Snakes
A couple days ago i got two spotted pythons for free, a male and a female - very cool animals, extremely gentle and easy to handle. And nothing is cooler than a snake unleashing the fury on a lil mouse.
Quite a good deal, two snakes and a cage, heating lamps, basically everything i need. Now the only thing left to do is to unleash them on unsuspecting plane passengers.. Or something. -"HERRO" |
If anyone post Snakes on the Plane stuff, you're gay.
But yea snakes are my biggest fear...next to being buried alive. |

Fuck that, i hate snakes of all kinds.
But good on you for liking them. To creepy for me Whatever you do, dont flush them. |
I was thinking about naming them Steve and Irwin, as a tribute to our dear departed m8.
|
thats fucking awesome. i always wanted to get one, i'm not really scared of it biting me, but my fear is that it might sneak away.
|
badass man, when is the first feeding? is it gonna be a blood bath?

They are constricters, so they bite the mouse in the head, then wrap around the mouse and squeeze it to death. so damn sweet. |

Now this is something i'd like to get My neigbor had one and it takes a lil' getting used to when handling them. Awsome creature thats for sure. |
You're pretty brave strvs lol Snakes scare the shit out of me. Well, constricting snakes do. Large constricting snakes. eek:
|
theres alot of barking spiders around here eek:
never had a snake and i dont think i would want to keep one. having to buy another animal just to feed it seems pointless and expensive, plus its probably messy. what are you gonna do with it when it gets too big for the house? youre gonna move and and get your own place, chances are a college or apartment wont let you take it with you, so youre gonna have to get rid of it. that, or it may just kill you in your sleep. get these mutherfuckin snakes off this muthafuckin plane |
Snakes are some of the easiest, low maintenence pets you can get. They only need to be fed about once every 2 weeks, only costs about 10 bucks for a months worth of frozen mice. Spotted Pythons are also pretty small, only growing to about 5 feet. Trust me, i thought this through before i agreed to do it.
And unless you let your snake shit and shed on your floor it's easily cleaned.. calmdown: |
We have a beach house down in Mexico and theres a big bushel of treebushes in our yard where this snake hangs out.
The first time I saw it I fucking freaked, but then thought it'd be funny to lunge a coconut from the nearby tree into the bush. The whole bush started fucking shaking, scariest shit in my life. |
^strvs i would never let my snake out of its cage, its "too big" now. I mean 3 feet isnt that big but hes a jackass and tries to eat fingers. Recently hes been pretty chill because he is going to shed in the next few days.

Snakes did Madrid Bombings.

When i let them out i hold onto it and keep an eye on it, i don't let them roam around the house freely, that's asking for trouble. Also, handling your snake will make him alot more comfortable with you, and he will stop biting fingers so much. If you never let your snake out and interact with him he will never stop doing that. My snakes are used to being handled and actually enjoy it, they are very friendly, i'd have to try and make them bite me. |
I'd like to handle your sSSsssSnake SSsssSSsssSStrvsSssssssSSSSSss!

I hate spiders
|
eh i don't see any gratification from a snake. It seems more of like a phase you'd go through when you're 9-13 years old. Yeah it may look cool for about a week, but I'd get so bored of it since it really can't communicate with you unlike a cat or a dog. Same goes for turtles, lizards, etc.
|
basically any animal that has to be kept in a cage is no fun
|
Thats jsut it, theres no point in owning a big ass snaek, i even think 3 feet is to big to handle in a house. If that thing gets out and you lose it and it get sout of the house and kills some poor bastards dog your gonna get fucking sued.
And for once i agree with como. I thnk its pointless to have a caged pet. |
my snake doesnt have teeth.

im talking constrictor. It can easily kill a small dog. |

Those are your lifestyles though. A snake obviously fits strvs' because he said he considered the purchase carefully.
Snakes are cool, but I'm scared of them. Offtopic pets: I get my twin burmese's next week ;) |
