iTunes Library

I had to get a new iTunes and a new library when I came to college. I bought sone new music on it, and connected my iPod. Rather than combining the two Libraries, it deleted my iPod library and replaced it with the few albums Id bought.

When I got back to Germany, I'll have access to the iTunes with my old library. How can I put my old Library on my iPod without deleting the new music on it?

Change the settings in itunes, connect your ipod, and than goto the ipod settings in itunes and set it to "Let me Manually manage my songs and playlists" I learned my lesson 2 times with that shit.

is there a way to get your mp3's on your ipod other than with itunes? such as just dropping and adding them?

gtboys34 10-03-2006 04:00 AM

i finally got the ipod i won off of ebay. Its the 30 gb video and im having problems adding multiple songs to my music library. I'd highlight say...5 or 6 songs and nothing happens when i hit open. But when i add a single song it works perfectly annoy: . Is there any way to add multiple songs to the library?

Vance 10-03-2006 05:15 AM

You failed to mention that.

But anyways I can add as many as I want.

my battery is so fucked : ( ... it only lasts about 5 minutes before asking to be plugged into power source, and the power bar is usually still full : (.

Just drag your audio files from Explorer and drop them onto one of the green areas highlighted below.

SO I plugged my iPod in, and checked 'manually manage', and then it randomly deleted stuff

Mr.Buttocks 10-03-2006 11:08 AM

You plugged your iPod into iTunes with your college music, or iTunes in Hitlerland?

College loney:

Mr.Buttocks 10-03-2006 11:14 AM

I don't see why it should have deleted anything from your iPod. oOo: What's in iTunes at college should be on your iPod right now.

Pyro 10-03-2006 01:06 PM

right off the bat when it asked me if i wanted to manually manage it i clicked it...who would want them to do it for ya :|

Mr.Buttocks 10-03-2006 01:06 PM

The album art is free, but you have to create an iTMS account to download them.

Mr.Buttocks 10-08-2006 02:57 PM

Are you using v7? http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Doctor Duffy 10-08-2006 03:40 PM

I keep downloading the latest versions but never see any serious diff. except for visual change

Mr.Buttocks 10-09-2006 12:39 PM

I wrote a letter to Apple to complain on your behalf.

Eames 10-09-2006 04:23 PM

i just competly rearranged my music library added alot more music and playlists to my ipod....and i havent had any problems. i just simply download music from limewire.....then open ituns hit add folder to library and bam all the songs ive downloaded are in my itunes library. then i create new playlists....and i right click the song i want in a specific playlist and hit "add to playlist" . if there are songs u want to take off your ipod for whatever reason u simply un click them before u plug your ipod back in and make sure you have your ipod settings set to update only the playlists you want. this is all pretty basic....and if i havent answered any questions you all can go to hell.
