I have some Dane Cook on my iPod. He made me giggle occasinally, but i never had a good laugh.

Well, I'm not saying you suck if you don't find Dane Cook funny. I personally do and have for a while now.

I don't care for Robin Williams's stand-up. A lot of people do, but i find him 100% irritating.

i found his earlier stuff funny, but his new stuff is horrible. its true, all the stupid frat boys love him now. a lot of his jokes now are to act like an idiot on stage or move in ways for girls to check him out i.e. the itchy asshole skit (not funny at all).

But even on Hedbergs "misses", they are still very cleverly thought out jokes, and even if the material is less than funny, the cleverness of it is what makes me laugh. Hedberg knows alot of his stuff is stupid, he even says that alot in his standup, while Cook has some funny material, sure, but its very unimaginative IMO and often recycled.

Dane Cook has some good points, and so does Mitch Hedberg, but both can be not funny.

It's entirely possible that not everyone shares your dislike of his sense of humor.

I like Dane Cook, he does what I think stand up comedians should do. He points out shit that happens in everyday life that we might have overlooked or not analyzed clearly and presents it in a funny light.

So what the fuck if he decides that instead of just standing motionless and making us laugh with just jokes that he's going to add a bit of flare and movement to his act. It still makes people fucking laugh and that's all that matters.
