It is the majority though. It's the lifestyle portrayed and emulated by the gangsta rap lifestyle. It IS hugely popular amongst blacks, especially poor areas here in the South. This is how many blacks act on the South, and not just in their backyards either. Back in high school I couldn't count the number of times I was jumped in line and then got cussed at by black people in the cafeteria, and I went to a mostly-white HS. Blacks who choose not to engage in society that way usually go on to be successful people, while the other side...

this a point i was trying to make with this thread. its easy to sit back in your predominatly white neighborhood and go to your predominatly white school and call all of those "ignorant rednecks" down south racist biggots for having a negative outlook on minorities, affirmitive action, forced integration, etc. but you don't have to deal with it everyday, you don't have people forcefully bussed half way across town to go to your school and act like this. this video just sheds light on a problem that for most of us here down south have known our entire lives. i mean did you see the parents encouraging it?? trust me when i say this isn't an isolated incident. i also think its pretty hard to blame this behavior on "white racism" ....which it almost always is, the problem is their culture. their "gangsta rap" culture only encourages behavior like this.

but like eames said, we grew up seeing and hearing about shit like this. I've never seen parents or siblings putting money down on who'd win the fight but i have seen parents telling their kids to go back and fight. For ex, this kid got his ass whooped a while back and and his mom told him to go back up the street and fight the guys instead of coming home crying. He did, now he's dead...nah jk but im sure by now he understands why his mom wanted him to go back up there and fight. I've never know anyone, even myself, whos ever been jumped by black kids. Most of the black guys at school I get along well with, in that geeky white fucking shit kinda way. The only kids that get jumped are the truly goofy fuckers...I almost support it.
