X-mas idea
 

ok, came up with a crazy idea......a GF1 secret santa. This is what i came up with as of now. Make it a $10 limit (don't forget, you'll need to pay for shipping also) and break it down to geographical area. (This is where it could suck for certain people)

People in the states, buy for one another, people in Canada buy for each other....and so on.Now, the problem lies in say....New Zealand for example. You would need at least 3 people from there for it to work.

If we can get a small list of different countries with the members of each, then we can assign a person in charge of a different country. For instance, since i'm from America, i can't be in charge of the American secret santa. I can be in charge of the Canadien santa though. I would have to PM each Canadien member and tell them who they're buying for, thus keeping the identity of the santa a secret.

We would have to get this all settled within a week for it make it for x-mas. Don't worry, you Jews are included.

This is where Im glad I have a P.O. box at school. But speaking of addresses. How would you get the address of your person? Are we going ot hae to make a long list of addresses, or do you send it to the person in charge and when htey tell you who you have they also give you the address?

I like the idea. What might make it even cooler would be if the coordinator just handed out addresses instead of names and addresses. In other words, if I got Coma, I wouldn't know it was him, so I wouldn't send him any gay porn or 2 week old fish. Make sense?

but people know others real names so it may not work in every case. But it's a good idea to implement.

Well, I was thinking to not give out real names either; just address the packages to GF1 Secret Santa or something.

Ok, i can see some of your concerns about the address so, we should just send the package without the persons name. I guess it's going to come down to....how much do you trust the coordinators for each country. They are going to know who you are because he'll be getting your address through a PM.
So, if i'm to do the Canadien secret santa, all you canucks need to pm me your address, then i mix them up, and pm each person individually WITHOUT the name.

So, we need to make a list of representatives.
