FF2 is such a buggy piece of shit, I had to switch back to FF1 to get back any stability. The only ace it has so far, is the ability to restore your browser session - dunno if IE7 has that as it hasnt crashed for me - yet.
IE7 works (though it lacks FF's "finesse") though - and thats all that matters to me. |
all i know is that IE does seemless f11 sullscreen. When i full screened firefox i could still see edges, and it drove me fucking insane.
Checked out FF2, it does not have such a problem... I'll give it another try. |
Mozilla takes for fucking everrrrrrrrrrr to load up, I dunno if you guys have the same problem. I usually click on it and watch some TV before it actually decides to pop up w/ a window screen
I still prefer it over ie tho |

Blitz fails, I have both and still prefer FF2

Firefox on a whole just seems to work so nicely, and have a very nice simple to use feel about it.

IE 4 lyfe.

My FF2 takes about 5 seconds to load up, once you tweak it a little you can speed it up and then you can move onto the wealth of fantastic add-ons that make surfin so much easier.........
For me Firefox isn't buggy, I've never had any problems with it. Even if there was a site that wouldn't work in FF (rare nowadays) then all you do is install the IE tab add-on which renders the page using IE but in the firefox browser. Only thing could be a slight memory leak with Firefox but I'm sure that'll be fixed soon enough. My pc runs on 2 gigs of ram so it doesn't effect me really. TGB mentioned about the session manager in FF2 being a built in feature, well it was always an available add-on in Firefox 1.5 so you can always revert to 1.5 and get that. Although I see most add-ons are heading towards being made for FF2 and onwards. In short, I love Firefox dance: |
