Simo Häyhä 02-22-2007 09:48 AM

his misfortune is comedy gold to me

TGB! 02-22-2007 10:01 AM

They need to drop those charges so long as he agrees to pay for the repair of the door. I could see it if dude had a history of this shit, but he doesnt. And what single guy watches porn w/o his headphones on? Idiot. . .

mr.miyagi 02-22-2007 10:18 AM

jeesh, what a plonka

Unknown_Sniper 02-22-2007 10:36 AM

Im glad there are people like him. If I heard what I thought was a rape happening I would bust some skulls too.

Poseidon 02-22-2007 11:11 AM

i agree. as stupid as he may feel now, he was trying to do a good act. he probably should have called the police, but it said he didnt have a phone and he just acted instantaneously. facing jail time for trying to do something good is a shame, though.

Milla 02-22-2007 12:03 PM

33 months in prison? what the fuck, charges should be dropped, a simple case of a mistake.

Sniper101 02-22-2007 12:07 PM

ya. wtf is with society today. someone tries to to a good deed and faces jail time and a record!! a bunch of BS. pay for the door, drop the charges and go back to your mom

Milla 02-22-2007 12:10 PM

If there was a rape going on in there he would of been a fucking hero, now hes just the bad side of a joke all over the internet. And is going to jail rolleyes:

I feel like I'm reading more and more about cases like this - Especially down here its a bit ridiculous whta you can get in trouble for when defending yourself and others from potential trauma/death.

Its making me increasingly cynical towards law and order. Its very sick that they would send a man to jail for something like this. I hope one day the judge who sentenced him gets into a dangerous situation and noone saves him, they just stand there and watch.

Then hopefully he'll realise that he's helped scare away potential heroes.

Something is very wrong.

The law almost always focuses more on action than motivation or consequence. I'm sure he could get a lawyer to fight this and AT LEAST get a reduced sentence. I mean, all those charges add up to a little longer than a year in jail. I'll bet they can argue it down to probation.

calvary swords dont seem practical. a samurai sword would have done better

c312 02-22-2007 01:34 PM

they said it was a "family heirloom" so it sounds like he just grabbed the most dangerous thing he could find.

White Rabbit 02-22-2007 01:45 PM

perhaps the neighbors shouldnt play porn so loud

Proteus 02-22-2007 02:17 PM

To protect and observe.

You could blame the liberal lawyers and for silly shit like this. They make a gay law and the police have no choice but to enforce it.

Back in the 70's, if a kid got out of line, he was slapped around by the police, then driven home where once again, the kid would get slapped around by his father. Today, the police have to be careful of video cameras.

c312 02-22-2007 04:53 PM

I don't think he will get that sentence, at least if he has a good enough lawyer

lol Im glad cops dont slap people around - My father never slapped me around and I turned out okay (minus my childish behaviour on the internet)

...I was talking about the fact that you can get in trouble defending yourself or saving others when you should be considered heroic for trying to help yourself and others from being harmed.

I agree, people get way too literal in the law sometimes.
