360 and ps3 only at the minute, prolly get a pc version 6 months or so down the line like normal.

Might get a 360 or ps3 for this game. Hey gerv, since you're the resident game guru, i'm a guy who loves playing games, but doesn't have much time to play them...but i want to buy a next gen system, is the 360 better or ps3 ? (I'm willing to buy any of the two)

At the minute the 360 is the better system, better games better online component. PS3 obviously has potential but as with the 360 its gonna take time before they can crank out games that look anything like Gears of War. This time next year could be a different story but at present the 360 is simply the better system.

Been tons of rumours about it, some think its gonna be set in london, guess we'll see tonight.

I wish, ive already had to put my tv plans on hold as this fucking monitor has somehow developed a burned in image on the screen. Its a replacement from dell so i have to assume it was already there, just i didn't notice it. And now its out of warranty so ive to try and get a new one. cuss:

Pyro how about good old working and saving money to get the things you want. It might work, i got my LCD HD Monitor, Sony Digital Camera, Flat screen, and not to mention my car that is payed off, by saving. All it takes is 3 weeks of saving some cash and i'll have enough to buy a 360...(I do pay rent, bills, etc).

With school i don't have much time to work so i make like $450 a paycheck...and 60% of it goes back into tuition...and i need spending money for the week and so on...usually i can save at most $50 from a pay cheque...and eventually when someones bday comes up that stash is gone again.

Liberty City is mainly New York. And since GTA3 was based there, one would assume that GTA4 would be there as well (as for the nameless character, who knows).

Thats why they put GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas instead of GTA4 and GTA5.

Trailer is very nice, mainly shows buildings in liberty city and your main character. Water looks lush, nothing ground-breaking but I can't wait to play it


edit: more you watch, more detailed the world seems. night and day transitions, shading, trains, rollercoaster park, stock exchange, neon billboards
