An amazing soundtrack, to hopefully an amazing film. Joe Strummer changed my life in a way few people can, let alone distant rock stars. His death really affected me in a way I never thought possible. Hopefully this film will focus less on the punk image and more on him as a real person. He is the most important man in music since John Lennon and watching two hours of him as a 22 year old playing ‘White Riot’ won’t give him justice. But I have faith.

the clash are kinda cool....i dunno, i didnt grow up then and alot of their tracks sound the same to me. I most of all hate fake kids who like them just to be seen liking them....kinda like the ramones in that regard.

What albums do you have? Because they really don't sound the same. In fact the clash matured musically better than any British punk band of the era. And I own every clash album - other than cut the crap, which is pretty much a solo disc anyway. So it's hardy like I walking around with a London Calling T-shirt just for kicks.
