E3 - 07 - Microsoft kicks it off.
 

For those not following game development, E3 07 kicked off with microsofts press conferance at 8:30pm PST, today. Nintendo and Sony go tomorrow at like noon or something, I dont care.

Anyhow, they only really spoke of games coming by years end to the 360 and PC. The list is pretty sizable and contains plenty of nice fucking titles.

COD 4 made a VERY impressive showing with some live gameplay of a sniper mission, GameTrailers will likly have it within a few hours. They also announced a public beta sometime, and to check there website for details. Also, November.

Assasins Creed was DISSAPOINTING at best. Bumping into pedestrians makes your character practically fly backwards. After distracting some guards with a guy pushed off the top of a building (how he got there since we scaled the building i dont know) they headed to the guy they were supposed to kill, and found another guard. They killed him on a slight ledge... His body floated over the street rather than falling to it. The presenter let out a very nervious laugh, she will be fired. It seems to be more a puzzle game than an action game since you kinda have to fit peices of your entrance together. Like noticing the guy up top, also noticing that he is the only person on ANY roof in the entire large city.

Mass effect got a video, but not much more.
Bioshock was really only mentioned in a few montages of games and nothing new was talked about.

Pc titles didnt get any videos nor release dates except for a gameplay on the Gears Of War port with some new content.

http://www.Gametrailers.com will likly have 90% of this stuff by like midnight and probably in HD, all worth a look. Also, live action HALO clip, and new trailer. Pretty good stuff, but nothing mind blowing.

Also, you can probably find a video of the full 1.5 hour presentation on like G4, or at xbox.com.

Once people hack CoD4, the wallhack is going to destroy it.

Holly shit Killzone 2 looks fucking incredible. It's as good, no fuck that, it looks better than the 2005 trailer. Beats the dick fuck out of Gears of War's graphics, and that's saying a lot.

This is going to be a big game if they get the MP on BF2's scale, I hope they do....

One thing thats most impressed me is the character body movements, as in Killzone 2, it looks like they've finally cracked the fluidity of looking human.

Idk about the new MoH. In some trailers it looks awesome, and in others it looks crappy. COD4 on the other hand is a definite buy for me.

I'll end up getting MoH:A simply for the fact, it's the only game coming out this summer that seems remotely interesting to me. Everything else like CoD4, AoC, HL2:EP2, etc doesn't come out until October/November. The CoD4 video was unbelievable though. Does anyone know if it sports any sort of physics engine?

The airborne vid looked good, they seem to have a breathing system in for sniper now, prolly similar to cod 2 where you hold shift to steady your aim for a few seconds. Dloading the second airborne vid now, meant to be more sniper gameplay.

Kinda reminds me of that level in mohaa where you had to go through the town and clear out enemies then the tiger would come up to the bridge and you had to call in artillery to take out tanks and stop germans from blowing the bridge. Right at the start if you look to the right theres a large bridge, looked pretty nice graphically and thats just the 360 version they showed.
