The demo will include the Operation Husky level, the game's first level where you parachute into Sicily.

Medal of Honor: Airborne ships next month on PC and Xbox 360, with a PlayStation 3 release following in November.

Oh. My. God. I didn't think I was going to buy MOHA before I built my new computer, but Christ this might push me over the edge. MOHAA is still my favorite MP game ever. It had the perfect combination of requiring skill to dominate while not being a complete Quake fest (at least in clan matches).

when this comes out i think we're going to have to get a few of us together and take over a server just like old times.

that'd be my idea of heaven....



I'm too lazy today to look for the minimum requirements, anyone know them?


edit: those videos were amazing Gervle, MP does indeed look great, hope my PC has enough juice in it which i'm doubting...

wow! they really spruced up those old maps. i wasn't really excited for this game, but now i am. i doubt my comp could run this though cry:

Its running on unreal engine 3, no real idea of specs yet. Demos (sp) out soon'ish (hopefully this or next week) so that will give a good indicator.

Just hope the mp is worthwhile, pacific assault was shit...if airborne can be at least as fun as MOH:AA then it should be around for a few years to come.


And if ea were smart if they introduced any new mp modes in expansions they should also release patches to incorperate these modes into airborne so as not to split the community up like spearhead and breakthrough did. The main incentive of an expansion is more sp action so the addons would still sell for that element alone.

Ea should be onto a winner here with the whole airdrop system, in single player if the ai works the way ea says it works then the airdrop thing could make you play levels dozens of time landing in a different area every time. In multi it should also add a lot, not spawning around the map ala quake 3..just upto them how much use the airdrop system is and how it adds to the game.

I'm hoping I can run the game on low settings. 1950 GT, 3 GHz Pentium 4 (ugh) right now. I don't want to wait until November/December when I build my new system to play this. I wasn't excited about it until I saw the MP videos. I can run fairly modern games on my current system on max settings with little problem (Splinter Cell Double Agent, Oblivion, etc). I'm hoping that's strong enough to give me 35-40 frames a second on low settings on an Unreal 3.0 game.

Rainbow 6 vegas runs on UE3 but its runs like crap on a lot of systems mainly because it was a lazy port over.

I think it should run ok on medium settings, it looks good but its not a graphical ground breaker in any sense of the word.

still be able to get under the map at remagen when you climb up the roof of the building and jump down the back then that alot of servers patches by putting a crashed plane oddly into the edge of the roof? lol

at the beginning of the video when the guy has the mp40 at the sandbags he uses ironsites

HD trailer doesnt look as good, you can see a lot of jagged edges. Also when are they coming out with the thing where PC and 360 users can play MP together?

Initially it was also gonna be 12 due to ea wanting to ship some half assed xbox ported server setup, but theyve now got a dedicated pc server with the game and its upto the server owner, probably 24-32 + if the server can handle it,

im gona 360 the shit out of this

Can i have some of wha you're smoking? I bought an evga gtx ko edition from america which is pretty much the same as the 8800 ultra card, got it cheap because of the exchange rate being how it is, sold it on for more than i bought it for and bought the 2 2900's.

I really don't know, I think I really need a new machine as I think the motherboard or hard drive on mine always seems to be having slight issues...

With all of these amazing games around the corner too I'd say now is the best time to upgrade if I was too. I just doubt I'd be able to sell my parts for very much at all.

any board that supports dual core will more than likely support quad core. ram shouldn't make a difference either.

things have changed for me too. i think we may have built around the same time if i recall, i'm still using agp single core amd and i'm upgrading to quad core ddr2 pci-e so yeah.

ram is really cheap now a days too. 2x1gb for like $80
