In 4 days

Well in just under 4 days I will be taking off from Boston and heading to Glasgow, Scotland. From there I will be going to England and seeing the sights. Was wondering if anyone(mostly you filthy brits on here) have any ideas of things to do besides go to London and get tanked.
Im going for 10 days

mr.miyagi 08-15-2007 07:17 PM

First of all stay away from Buttocks if he hasn't been fed for more than 4 hours.

Secondly, are you coming over to see any area in England?

What kind of things interest ya? happy:

I say some of them are, I would rather have chavs to what the londeners have - Blacks who all think there 2pac annoy:

Although I've not been there yet, the Lake District is a fantastic place to start.

I also recommend Brighton which is right on the bottom, lovely place

I'm in Newcastle which is near the border between Scotland/England (its where I fend off those insane inbred skirt-wearing scots who throw battered Mars bars at us)
Quite a party city and easy to get laid on a night out happy:

I'm always up for meeting lost yanks in London, I met Ranger a few weeks ago & we had quite a blast rock:

I've never been to Newcastle but I hear it is a great party place. London is worth checking for the sights, if you go anywhere make sure to steer clear of the county of Essex (just North of London). That's where most of the Chavs are located & almost everyone there has a horrible cockney type accent. The police badge consists of three daggers on a red background. rolleyes:

If you're going to Scotland Edinburgh is definately worth a look, you'll notice how crazy the accents are there & how they change dramatically throughout the UK. You could check out Wales too as it has some nice scenery & castles but they're all sheep shaggers. York is also definately worth a look if you're into History.

You ever gonna show us the pics of your camping trip to Wales with you in a field dressed as a sheep?

Unknown_Sniper 08-16-2007 11:46 AM

I'm gonna steer clear of Wales. I think their accent would drive me to commit genocide.

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 08-16-2007 11:47 AM

They're currently hanging as part of the tapestry at Harlech castle.

Pyro 08-17-2007 06:28 PM

better off staying in Scotland.

I thought going to London, living there for a month+, and getting tanked all the time was a brilliant idea.

Unknown_Sniper 08-30-2007 11:38 AM

Well, I'm back.
The things I have learned about the UK are
1. You have too many sheep
2. Your cows are fucking weird and big dumb gays
3. The Beer is awesome but expensive at $6+ a pint
4. The Peak and Lake districts are awesome.
As soon as I can get to an internet connection that doesn't shit out every 4 seconds Ill post some pictures.

RaNgeR 08-30-2007 11:55 AM

You can't think of things in dollars over there man, thats the FIRST thing I did when I got there. I told myself I was in the UK now, its pounds. If I thought in dollars, I wouldn't have had nearly as much fun as I did.

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 08-30-2007 01:09 PM

Yar I agree... the £$ is messed up, my parents are going to New England for a vacation & leaving me at home but they have to change everything to $. I'm considering getting a mortgage on a house but the prices are a bit mad around here. A studio flat I was looking at is £94,000. That's about $200,000. So I went on ebay & looked around, I could buy a nice house in Arizona for that. cuss:

BTW 3 quid is pretty steep for a pint, that's the prices in London. Up North it should certainly be cheaper. Try looking out for a weatherspoons pub where the prices are around £2.30 or so. I've been to the Lake District before & yar it is full of sheep, nice countryside though... If you're interested in history I still recommend York, NE of Derby, may take a while to get there but probably worth the trip.

Unknown_Sniper 08-30-2007 02:35 PM

yeah I was in London for the 3 pound pints. a round of 4 pints at one pub ran me about 15 pounds. Oh well, was a blast.
I went to Twickenham, the home of the English Rugby team and got a tour of the stadium inside and out including the royal box and the RFU Presidents lounge

Took a boat from London to Greenwich, ate at some nice restruants, and had a blast.
BTW whats with your oil?
