Pls help me

my disc drive has just stopped reading discs, no auto run, no nothing

i'm becoming increasingly anxious & distressed.... mad:

ninty 08-16-2007 03:19 PM

have you whispered sweet nothings to it yet?

mr.miyagi 08-16-2007 03:41 PM

...in these kind of situations i recommend you unzip, wack out your cock and slam it on the front of the disk drive until you see some moisture, then you'll know its ready for action...

Sniper101 08-16-2007 03:53 PM

do to it like you would do to a lame horse...
take it out back and shoot it

If you see your power light on the front working then most likely it isn't your disc drive or power connector etc thats causing the problem. I went into the bios and enabled something relating to the drive (rom drive) that was disabled somehow. First set your default bios settings and then if that doesn't work, go into the bios and change( i forgot exactly what it was)..

Sniper101 08-16-2007 09:43 PM

play with extreme caution in the BIOS as simple as it looks, it can make for a bad day if u fuck it up

bios can easily be reset.

Sniper101 08-16-2007 09:54 PM

yes through a couple means, but it can still fuck up your day

gtboys34 08-16-2007 09:59 PM

wish i remember exactly what i enabled that got it working again..

Eight Ace 08-16-2007 10:04 PM

I think I'll just have a beer or six and then start fooling around with the BIOS and then get really angry and
smash the fucking computer and then immediately regret having done so, and lastly i'll cry myself 2 sleep.
