So I was just looking up the track list for the new Guitar Hero 80's edition and I found some stuff on GH3. I saw the track list and ed: ed: ed: .

Most of the songs are by alright bands, but there were a few that stuck out, and I am so happy to see finally being on Guitar Hero.

They include:
Living Colour- Cult of Personality
Pearl Jam- Even Flow
Iron Maiden- Number of the Beast
Metallica- One
Beastie Boys- Sabotage
SLAYER- RAINING BLOOD

all of these are said to be recorded by the original artist too, not covers.

other great songs are by artists that have been on GH before, like Black Sabbath. the rest of the songs are alright.

I love playing Strutter by Kiss and Surrender by Cheap Trick....in fact most song on GH2 are fun to play....Jessica by the Allman Bros is hard as fuk though.


These fucks at activision need to put some Pink Floyd on....how about Comfortably numb I mean one of the greatest guitar solos of all time....Have a Cigar? what about that one..

I'm glad GH2 has Anthrax, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Danzig, and Iggy Pop. And the 80's edition has Iron Maiden and Dead Kennedys.

So fucking sick of GnR and Rolling Stones.

alright.

i grew up with my parents listening to it, and i liked most of it. the only classic rock band i really like is The Who. thats real music right there. but other than that, it got so repetitive and boring. led zeppelin is alright, but hearing them day after day after day....ugh. and fuck pink floyd. what a load of shit they are. three notes every 5 minutes, they are so fucking boring.

and my opinion is just reinforced by Q104.3, for any of you who live in NY/NJ. they play the same damn classic rock songs every day, and it just annoys the hell out of me, which is why i just bring my ipod now.

a few of my friends love classic rock, and all they do is listen to pink floyd. they refuse to open up and listen to anything else. explore other kinds of music.

and uh most people who like classic rock...are open to other kinds of music...it just happens rock past the 90s pretty much sucks...and thenw e turned to rap...well thats just me.
