F*ck, I'm dying!

This semester is killing me already (2nd day of it so far). I have no time to post on my precious gf1.com!

I still have to keep my social life going and do well. So I may seem like I've disappeared, but alas, I am not dead or have been diagnosed with any chronic illness. I hopefully will pop my head in here every now and then.

http://www.schedulizer.com/JjCH31 (20 credits actually, not the low number it gives)
^^^death^^

I still need to make a video review of my sweet touch-screen laptop rock:

PS I love you Judas!

Jotun 08-28-2007 07:07 PM

thats pretty damn packed man.

im only taking 13 credits this semester, mainly because i couldnt find another class to fit my schedule, but im also taking organic chem, so i didnt want to overload myself. i dont know how organic chem is everywhere else, but here, it separates the boys from the men.

i also have to dedicate 5+ hours a week to the radio station since im a manager there...not to mention my show (even though thats for fun, not "work")

RaNgeR 08-28-2007 07:30 PM

lol...I'll be taking 4 classes this semester for 16 credits. 3 on M,W,F, and one on Tuesday nights (art class...630-8pm). So really, I can do whatever I want on Mon. and Tues. nights. Im starting a star gazing club with my friend, and hosting a radio show with my 2 friends hopefully...Ill keep you guys posted.

TK-423 08-28-2007 07:44 PM

Taking 15 as well. And I'm absolutely gonna use that schedulizer thing.

Edit: Nevermind, school isn't supported on that site.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 08-28-2007 07:49 PM

how many classes are you taking? is each class a color (if so, why that many?)

Nyck 08-28-2007 09:05 PM

not enough music classes

Forte 08-28-2007 09:31 PM

im taking 15 as well for my first year. went to the wrong fucking philosophy class though...

Jotun 08-28-2007 09:54 PM

im also ahead in credits...i went into freshman year wth 23 credits and ended freshman year with 53 credits...it only takes 120 to graduate with a BS

Coleman 08-28-2007 09:57 PM
Blitz":fec02]how many classes are you taking? is each class a color (if so, why that many?)[/quote:fec02]that's how my major is. Each color is a different course. Sad thing is, each one of those is usually 1 credit rather than 3 most kids/majors get for the same time. Music Education, at pennstate, is the highest hours of credit major in the whole university (that's like a thousand majors/minors/concentrations). So yeah it sucks. Even just being in those classes isn't enough. I gotta practice outside of them since most of them are performance graded. This is the time where I'm basically learning every instrument and shiznit.

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 08-28-2007 10:17 PM

I have absolutely nothing to do until September 4th other than try n hook up with a few slags...

It sucks! Being on MSN 24/7 gets old, there's only so much reading & watching T.V. one can do without ones brain turning to mush. There's no-place to go around here during the daytime as all my friends are at work. rolleyes:

I've also got insomnia since Ibiza, I'm sleeping all day & up all night on the internets. It's 4.16am now.

Simo Häyhä 08-28-2007 10:23 PM

3 more credits and i'll have my associates degree

thats fucking awesome.

im taking Music In America....its so boring right now...we are discussing native american music, hopefully it gets better.

Coleman 08-31-2007 03:25 PM

i had a cultures class of world music last year and it was the worst thing ever. Learned all about Hundustani, native American, Javanese Gamelan, Japanese theatre, and some other stupid shit that I totally forget. Tells you how great of a job that class did on my memory.

Simo Häyhä 08-31-2007 09:39 PM

what the fuck can you do with that degree?

Coleman 08-31-2007 09:49 PM
what the fuck can you do with that degree?[/quote:26442]I am a Music Education major...so I dunno....teach music? Plus, I'll have a music technology minor so I'll be able to do sound mixing, sound microphone setup, digital recording and some studio work. So who knows where that'll lead me to.

Arch 08-31-2007 09:54 PM

It's an education that's what matters. Hope it works out for ya mang

Forte 09-01-2007 12:37 AM

im an undeclared major right now. no point in declaring a major if I don't know what to do. btw coleman if you want to buy a trumpet I am probably selling mine. even though yours kicks the eternal shit out of mine.

RaNgeR 09-01-2007 02:26 AM

true.

everyone with a history degree strives to be on a history channel documentary, i bet.

Chronic Diarrhea 09-01-2007 11:29 AM

Jotun you're an idiot. History majors have one of the widest selections of careers for any major. History majors are 3rd in employees of federal government jobs behind accountants and pre-law. They are 3rd in FBI, 2nd in CIA, 3rd in ATF, 2nd in Homeland Security. I could go on and on.

P.S. I'm not a History major.

nope. i hate to be a jerk, but my dad has a history degree, and just enjoyed learning history, but doesn't care about showing off his knowledge or teaching.

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 09-01-2007 12:34 PM

It is very wide with what you can do, at job interviews I used to ephasise on the bs factor regarding research & use of statistics & also the ablity to construct an argument based on selected sources...

So with that in mind one can bs their way into admin/management & maybe law jobs. But seeing as a lot of people go & study things that are directly related to what they want to do 'business management', the competition can be quite difficult.

I must have been to a million job interviews, but after getting shot down so many times I began to realise it's certainly beneficial to use a certain amount of poetic license in ones resume, especially if you have a fairly obscure a degree subject such as history.

I still can't believe the idiots accepted me at my new job ed: beer:

Yes shock horror, some people do choose not to be bothered drinking. Why is it when people find out you dont drink its some type of amazing feat whereas people not smoking is considered a more regular occurance. oOo:

Im 27 and havn't ever been out drinking, probably never will as ive seen too many people shit their lives away when they first of all liked to have a drink, then a year or so later it was every single night they "had" to do it.
