biggrin: --> didn't even know this section of the forum existed until 2 min ago.

PC looks good...but I'm no expert.

geRV 09-19-2007 01:33 PM

Good spec, similar to mine in a lot of ways.

OS id say vista 64, it may have some teething problems but for a gaming pc playing crysis in dx 10 is probably a must. happy:

Don't forget to pick up a fan (120) for you CPU cooler.

Jotun 09-26-2007 09:13 AM

maybe things have changed since i was into computers, but almost $200 for a power supply? dayyyummmm.

ninty 09-26-2007 09:30 AM

it's a really good psu, but i paid $110 cdn after rebate for mine I think, so you can find it for way cheaper than that.

elstatec 09-26-2007 12:44 PM

If he has an up to date pc theres no problems with stuff working. Lot of the stuff that doesn't work is generic old no name components or companies that were too lazy to work on 64 bit rivers.

Update ---> http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1225296

What the problem with 64 ?

Changed the Mobo,CPU heatsink and PSU. Let me know, ordering next week.

geRV 09-26-2007 09:18 PM

Looks good still, dunno much about that psu, the heatsink should do fine. The thermalright 120 ultra is probably the best aircooler though but a lot of them come with a concave base that has to be lapped down.

ninty 09-27-2007 10:52 AM

i wouldn't skimp out on the psu. your parts depend on the psu working properly. i've never even heard of it before.
