Meh, I watched the extended version of it elsewhere. His mic was cut off for a valid reason. He started asking multiple questions in rapid fire, and mentioned something about Clinton getting a blowjob, which obviously isn't appropriate. He was a stupid frat boy who thought he deserves anything he wants, so when somebody suggested he end with one question, he refused and continued. It was at this point the mic was cut off, and he started acting like a cunt about it.

Well yeah from that we don't really get the whole story behind it, but there's like 12 cops there. If 12 cops can't handle 1 guy then oOo:

I saw a kid get tasered on my campus this weekend...he flew back a few feet, it was pretty sweet looking.

my friend was in jail cuz his girlfriend lied to cops...so thats why im pissed.

girl bangs her legs at work on desks and fell down drunk trying to throw shit at my friend and trying to hit him, but was sod runk she kept falling down...she even stayed at his house that night...and in the morning when to the police station and said he beat her...and he just started working as a PI and assault charges is not a good thing in that field. And also brought in a 2nd witness...who wasn't even their...whose dad is a cop.

pretty much the one witness who wants nothing to do with it cuz well he doens';t want to upset either side...im going to talk to him about it with a tape recorder and record his story to hopefully help get this case dropped.

The guy was resisting and swinging around and casuing a scene, the cops tastered him and he calmed down. Seems like everything worked, so calmdown:

In the full version, the cops asked him to put his hands behind his back and stop resisting multiple times. They only have to ask once.

Probably be charged with assault and resisting arrest. That'll stick with him for awhile

I guess I dont know what cities follow what policies, but the most common practice is that the officer MUST warn before tasering ie "if you dont do what i say, i will taser you"

Well you may be right. But it seems from the start the officer had the taser out, and he saw it comming so i think he knew what the result would be if he didnt comply

Maybe if you were in college you would check facebook and the eyewitness accounts by other college students, and what MANY of the people in the room did after this happened. ;)

I dont get how you call them rent-a-cops. I work Campus police, and we are special State police officers, with full arrest powers. We dont have tasers, but everything else we do have.

If they were 'rent a cops' they wouldnt have the right to arrest.

I dont see what is disgusting here. He made a reference which wasnt appropriate, the police tried to escort him out - which was all they could do at that point - but as soon as he started flailing they tried to arrest, in which he resisted. There were about 6 officers around who couldnt get him under control - What do you expect them to do? Keep asking him nicely?

lol please. I dont know which campus security you work for...but mine most def. do not have the ability to arrest. Look at what happened, he may have been out of line with asking multiple questions...but he asked multiple questions; OMG. Not only that, as soon as the mic is cut they try to handcuff him. Do research, see what really happened here...that security was just acting more thuggish than usual, because thats what campus rent-a-cops USUALLY are, a bunch of thugs.

I think you need to research a little further. It usually isn't wise to disobey the order of a police officer, which is what was stationed at the event in question, not campus security.
btw my campus security is a division of the local police. They have all the power that any regular cop would have.

You're probably right, you probably just have security guards who are just there to deter crime and call the real cops when the shit hits the fan.

But most large colleges and universities have POLICE departments, some of them are even armed.

you do know that any person can make an arrest if it meets the necessary criteria
