New cell phone?
My plan is up and I will be starting a new plan and getting a new phone w/ verizon again.
Any recommendations on which phone I should get? It needs to be bluetooth compatible (for headset to use in car or possibly setting it up w/ my Alpine HU) and I want the VZ Navigation capability. I'm thinking of just getting the base "razr v3m".... good phone? Is there a reason to buy something better? I don't see the difference b/w all these phones? |
RAZR is terrible, the software is glitchy and slow. I just got the Orange enV and its fucking awesome. I wouldget an LG phone, their software is top notch.

Ill vouch for LG's phones. EXCELLENT GUI. loving my lg550 fusic.

as long as u can record violence with it, i think that's the main thang
|
my ladyfriend is on her 4th razr, they suck.
i have the Samsung SCH-A950, and i love it. http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/d...50WRVXAR:6f1d9 never had any huge problems with it, and its lasted me a good year and a half now, which unfortunately is a long life span for phones these days... |

thanks for the replies...
are all Motorola's crap, or just the razrs... how about this http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/stor ... oneId=3096 My parents need new phone too and they always lean towards the cheap ones, so if we got these free are they any good? Right now I've got an LG and it's been OK. I just can't see spending $200 on an enV, maybe one of the less priced LGs. |

My old E815 was excellent. How are you spending 200 on an EnV? Upgrade price should be cheaper, go look into your local best buy, or the kiosk in BJ's, i got mine for 50 dollars with the upgrade. Nyck, the enV is bad ass, i got mine in orange rock: The camera on it is awesome, 2MPs |
Ok, I guess I have to double check my prices.
That enV does look nice. |
FUCKKKSSADGBJKBAKJFLH
im absolutely pissed off at this samsung phone. the whole phone ok cancel etc buttons are touch sensitive rather than normal click in and so they fucking do all random shit all the time, and it always locks the phone when you phone someone so when you want to hang up you then have to FUCKING UNLOCK THE PHONE FIRST UGHHHHHHH so im swapping it for this |
the enV doesnt have that problem thank god, that was one reason i like flip phones
|
Well guys, thanks for the replies. The enV was actually $99 through this plan so in the end I just decided to go with the Motorola RAZR v3.
I know ya all advised against it, but it was free and all I really use my cell for is occasionally making some calls, so I really didn't need a fancy photo feature or the keypad on the enV. Just got it in the mail tonight, seems alright. |
