mayweather vs hatton

http://jesusburger.net/upload/mayweathervshatton.gif

never really cared for boxing, but theres been so much hype and build up ive become quite interested and ive been watching all the rocky films and raging bull which has helped aswell.

it as hyped and big up over in the states? anyone else been following it?

both undefeated, both good fighters, should be amazing - cant wait

[DAS REICH] Blitz 12-05-2007 02:09 PM

wanna know why boxing sucks?

$49.95

Short Hand 12-05-2007 02:13 PM

$54.99 here.... AND its hyped over there because a limy finally got his ass for a title shot, here its expected to be a pushover for Mayweather. I hope Hatton wins though, great boxer through and through.

elstatec 12-05-2007 02:17 PM

£15 here which works out to be $30 US.

hope hatton gets it as mayweather is just such a big headed show off twat. think i got really into this fight because i accidentally caught mayweather vs dela hoya and saw how show boating he was.

Short Hand 12-05-2007 02:22 PM

Hoya should never have taken that fight, it is a disgrace when legends come back and embarrass themselves like that :(. They can't all be Rocky.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 12-05-2007 02:32 PM

boxing as a whole can't expect to expand its fanbase with PPV's that cost as much as tickets to other live sporting events. Boxing is dead because of its greed, and all its doing now is digging a deeper hole.

elstatec 12-05-2007 02:34 PM

yea but you say that and then all HBO, skysports, mayweather, hatton, promoters, advertisers are going to make millions from this so they will keep it going and defy it being dead

Nyck 12-05-2007 02:59 PM

everytime ive watched boxing ive been disappointed...i recorded some of the espn fights and it was an hour of two guys dancing around...there might have been a knockdown/out 1 in every 5 fights

Arch 12-05-2007 03:33 PM

Mayweather is too fucking cocky even though he's a good fighter, he just takes it over the line. My brother has the HBO package so we always have Fight nights, which include bets. Can't wait either.

MuZzA 12-05-2007 04:08 PM

I was in Manchester when mayweather got his ass handed to him by the crowd,

http://youtube.com/watch?v=TMZh8JCUYEs&feature=related

this was live in the conference before they came out to see the crowd live on tv which was fucking LOL at the time.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nH_sVpzsXsQ&feature=related

Chipped Cable - Beer stacked in the garage - Mayweather going down.

elstatec 12-05-2007 04:54 PM

only thing is that its at 4am here when the actual fight starts and i know i wont be able to last staying wide awake for it all but i will try my hardest!

Pyro 12-05-2007 05:45 PM

I would of watched it at my buddy Armand's place...but this weekend is singhs birthday shit and we going downtown.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 12-06-2007 06:51 AM

Tiger Al-Singh?

c312 12-06-2007 07:37 AM

I know nothing about boxing but I've been watching the HBO 24/7 programs about this fight and find myself unexplainably intrigued.

Nyck 12-06-2007 08:57 AM

GREAT WHITE HYPE ANYONE?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116448/

Whatada 12-06-2007 05:24 PM

I've seen the brit fight, and he's a powerhouse. Should be a good match.

The fun in watching a fight is having a bunch of friends over and all chip in for the PPV cost. For a good fight its definitely worth it, but not if you are sitting at home by yourself.

Arkan 12-06-2007 09:03 PM

Last time i sat around with a bunch of friends and watched a fight....it lasted mere seconds. Tyson knocked out Spinks.

Arch 12-06-2007 09:07 PM

^I remember that fight, that was what about 3-4 years ago? We were so fucking disappointed...I bought a bottle of tequila just for the fight too

more like almost 20 years ago man, Tyson hasn't knocked out anyone in the past 10 years except his mother or girlfriend after tripping them down the stairs.

Mr.Buttocks 12-07-2007 11:20 AM

Probably: Mayweather UD

Hopefully: Hatton KO by rib-cruncher, mid-rounds

elstatec 12-08-2007 09:00 AM

12 hours baby

elstatec 12-08-2007 09:30 AM

I'll be doing some bar work with some fat slags, my mates are watching it though. I was never really attracted to the idea of watching half naked, big, black, sweatty, men slap each other. It'll be interesting if the Brit loses, there's 5000 chavs in Las Vegas...

Short Hand 12-08-2007 12:44 PM

My dream tonight is to see Hatton break a whole side of Mayweathers ribs and watch him come tumbling down crying. :). IF it happens well. :).

big woof, i was referring to the 49 sec one.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 12-08-2007 09:28 PM

You meant to refer to the Etienne fight, but you thought Spinks was Etienne. 20 year difference

elstatec 12-08-2007 09:42 PM

20 minutessssssssssss

haha hear all the hatton fans

Arch 12-08-2007 09:43 PM

My bet's on hatton...

elstatec 12-08-2007 11:27 PM

hatton had the start, mayweather spent most the first 3 rounds ducking his head between his legs, looks like mayweathers pulling away now

Unknown_Sniper 12-08-2007 11:33 PM

mayweather

Arch 12-08-2007 11:36 PM

lol, hatton hit the corner of the ring and fucked up. Mayweather won and i lost money haha, awesome fight.

Unknown_Sniper 12-08-2007 11:38 PM

Im sad I didnt get to see it. I'll have to check it out online later. BBC ran up to date online commentary though which was good.

Hardly, He dominated the first 4 rounds, and put up well in the 5th. That punch he laid on Mayweather in the 1st or 2nd nearly knocking him down was a great hit. He just didn't have the long run stamina of Mayweather, AND his biggest problem was not getting in close and personal in the later rounds, Mayweather has HALF a foot on this guy arm length wise, and 2 inches in height, when push came to shove Hatton started trying to go for lounging body shots he loves to dish out. Thats when Mayweather saw the chance and started doing what he does best, throwing that left arm out of no where from the massive safe distance. Once Hatton started playing this style, he had NO chance. His conservative style towards the start should have carried threw.

elstatec 12-09-2007 05:43 AM

its a shame as i think everyone regardless of being english etc wanted hatton to win because mayweather is the biggest twat around

the ref was a bit ridiculous aswell, was constantly going on at ricky every 2 seconds
