Sorry I haven't been around much lately...unfortunately things have turned to shit in my neck of the woods.

I lost my job yesterday. Happy Fucking New Year to me.

The company in its infinite wisdom and financial disarray laid off all the customer support people, except for the manager. Me and two other support reps have been shitcanned. Other staff in other departments were let go as well.

Hopefully I can find something else soon. This is priority #1 right now, so I may be even more scarce than I have been in the past few weeks.

Then again, I might have more time on my hands. Who knows.

Anyway, pray for zonah. I'll dance for your enjoyment, clean vacuum cleaner bags, wash dishes... :2up:

Well, some news...

My manager, who was not informed of ANY of these layoffs, has lobbied successfully to have my termination reversed. Basically, I'd go back to work just like nothing ever happened.

I agonized over this decision all weekend and even though it's going to suck huge amount of ass, I am going to go back tomorrow.

Hopefully everything works out.
