1 B
2 A 3 C 4 how am i suppose to know? guessing C 5 B 6 D ------------------ "There wanst was two cats of Kilkenny Each cat thought there was one cat too many So they fought and they fit And they scratched and they bit 'Til instead of two cats there weren't any." - "Anonymous" |
Here's my own q for you history profs:
How many Mustang Pilots became ACE? Which invasion was made on D-day? The P-47 was called a JUG, what's a JUG? heh heh heh. ------------------ "There wanst was two cats of Kilkenny Each cat thought there was one cat too many So they fought and they fit And they scratched and they bit 'Til instead of two cats there weren't any." - "Anonymous" |
Some of these questions aren't to hard. The only one that really got me was Tora Tora Tora. But as for the P-47 being called a JUG...A JUG is short for Juggernaut (sp?). The reason it was called this is because this flying tank could take a lot of damage. Although it probably couldn't take anymore damage than a p-51 could, but it was good for propaganda. And as for P-51 ACE, There is only one. He's name is 'Bud' Anderson. He was a triple ACE who flew 116 missions. If I'm wrong please correct me.
Now for the D-Day question, well that could be a trick question. There were many invasions that took place on D-Day and I just dont mean June 6, 1944. D-Day was just a code word meanind that on that day a military event would take place. For example June 1 Could be D-Day minus three, I think it was said another way, but I forgot. But D-Day can mean any number of invasions. Here's a easy one. What was the code name for the M-262 Jet Fighter when it was first being built? [This message has been edited by Gen. Rommel (edited June 15, 2001).] |
i hope you mean June 6, 1944...LOL
|
LOL! Thanks for catching that! YES YES JUNE 6! Excuse me while I go whip myself for that.
