hows is the dificulty level determined ? is it based on increased number of enemies in the mission , higher percentage of getting shot , and tougher AI ?
and also is there an auto-aim feature ? and also what kind of manuvers do the enemies do when you are shooting at them, like rolling and crouching and running to go behind walls for better cover ? also whats the percentage of getting shot if you just run straight through (in a straight line) in the omaha level ? i hope its a high percentage . and also is there a tutorial level like when mike powell is at Carrickfergus at the live fire training exercises at Achnacarry, Scotland ? and also is there a mission to sabatoge hitler's V1 and V2 missles ? and also is it possible to drown in the omaha level ? and also what type of computers do you guys have working on this game ? and also do you guys order pizza while you are working on this game ? thx [This message has been edited by Polaris (edited June 19, 2001).] |
LOL... pizza. Yeah those are all pretty good questions though. Im curious too. I loved in the original MOH when the enemy was able to hide and fire from behind walls.
|
i'd be having a pizza party everyday
|
I'd say, if the original MoH had all those features, which it did, (well most of them) I'd have to say with confidence that they'd be in this game aswell, but just MUCH better.
Auto aim is yuck http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif |
"Auto aim is yuck"
yea i hated when some of my friends used auto aim to try to finish up single player games . i always told them they were a bunch of pussies for using it . but i have to admitt that it comes in handy sometimes when you just want to fuck around in a level you've already passed . It would be cool if I died many many times before I beat Omaha. I wouldn't mind taking a step out of the landing craft and getting shot right away. http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/wink.gif What can I say? I like realism. We should be able to drown. Our equipment could drag us down, I guess. I wonder if it's possible to drop a weapon. For example, you are running and there's an explosion close to you and it makes you fall and drop your gun.
|
medal of honor of course rommel =)
|
maybe autoaim is also used to determin difficulty level but I doubt its in there....auto aim is usually only seen on console 3D shooters
|
Gen. Rom are you feeling alright , buddy ??

Indeed.
|
Yes indeed it is in both games, and I've tried both games with Auto aim and damn is it weird, I just dont like it at all, it makes it feel clumsy and unrealistic, it's just not a feature I can say would add anything to this game. Sure if you've already done the level and wanna piss about and do some easy nazi shooting it sounds fine, but not when playing the game/level for the first time.
|
certainly takes a lot of the realism away
|

Even if I had the game on easy, I'd still want to choose my targets myself. Difficulty levels should only change elements of the game environment such as enemy AI, movements, amount of enemy against you so on so forth, it should never interfere with your control setups or something like that. |
there is a big problem with auto aim that when you are confronted with more then 3 enemies at once on screen then you are more then dead because the auto aim cant switch off that fast

i would like it to be virtually impossible to run straight through in the omaha level . i read somewhere , i dont know but it might have been in this forum that , if you know what you are doing in that level then you could finish the omaha level in under 2 minutes or something .
btw, BallisticWookie congrats on your new rank http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/biggrin.gif [This message has been edited by Polaris (edited June 20, 2001).] |

so say you stick around one place to long your toast.
