I downloaded the video and i was immediately impressed then i noticed hold on i seen this exact sequence somewhere before. I checked the gamespot video which is omaha beach but with a different person controlling the game from the looks of things.

What i noticed that in both vids there is a part where you come up behind 2 guys they charge off and get shot down and another 2 guys running across the way get hit with a mortar shell causing a dust explosion.

People havn't noticed this i would say because it is done on both vids from slightly different angles so ive posted up a vid on some webspace to ilustrate what i mean.


The only possible thing i can think of is this is the same build that was used in the gamespot gameplay vids and all the sequences hadn't been put in yet.

Ya i noticed it two, but when I watched it again, I also noticed that two men were mowed down by a machine gun later, and those two men were not mowed down in this recent video. Only one man is mowed down where two had previously been. So I think it is a combination of scripted and random.

yea , i dont think its Too scripted where it grades as a "thumbs down" . it seems like they used the original footage and changed it around or something , or it might have been a different take , either way , the guy that was controlling Powell looked like he was totally confused , or at least thats how they told him to play (go ahead bob...play the game so we can show it to the public , but make it look like you dont know what your doing so it seems more chaotic)...lol . but i would like to experiment when i get to finally play that level . like when the other soldiers start telling you what to do , i want to see what would happen if i go tell them to fuckoff and then i go run and hide . i'm sure the medic doesnt tend to the same guy lying on the ground everytime .

If ya notice powell gets told to lead a group of men ashore. Instead he fucks off on his own lol. I hope one of the 2015 guys can say what exactly made those bits of fotage near identical albeit from a slightly different viewpoint. Hopefully thats an early build with some fairly basic scripts available to it.

It is scripted I watched the movie agan. Forget about the two guys I sayed were mowed down in the Gamespot one, they are both mowed down in the exact same place here too ( but from a different view point it looks alittle different). However then I went on to view the screenshots to compare, and it looks as if the medic is tending to the same guy, and the dead bodies near the radio guy are in the exact same place in the screenshots and video. (and in the exact same dead poses). Uh oh, I hope they don't silence me for giving out to much info. anyway the game looks great and I have a feeling that level will rock anyways, I mean I play DoD Omaha all the time and the nazis always camp in the same place. J/K, great game though.

Well ill tell ya one thing, I didnt like the part when your in the crater and some of the soldiers atemt to move ahed. When they start getting shot all u hear is uh uh uh oh uh and so on. Come on i want to hear something else than a moan. Hell silence would be better.

Guys I just went to the MOH for PS homepage. Well I downloaded some of the music from the original game. It was great music for a game. All orchestra and what not. I reall yhope this game has great music too, and especially that main theme.

Well i think in the next vid or the one after its pretty obvious we wil see bangalore torpedos being used on the barbed wire. http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif

Youse guys do know that the game isn't finished yet. The AI probably hasn't been put in for the Dynamic Omaha. They're probably using scripted events so that they can show what their engine can do and also to whet the pallets of potential buyers. So... as with most of their stuff, we'll just have to wait and see.

so what they are releasing right now is what you guys showed at e3 ? or does EA have a playable demo of the game for themselves ?

me and cpt.kickass just watched and at the end when I thought it was awesome, all he could say was "They took allot from saving private ryan", has anything been changed for all those people who think this? (never said I thought it did)

yeah did any of u ever think MAYBE this is just a close version level they are running to get shots and videos from? prob the same level, nothing changed and everything is linear just cause its only screens and movies... so they dont really need updating maps allover the place
