Iraq's Saddam Says He Is Unmoved by U.S. Threats
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - President Saddam Hussein ( news - web sites) said on Thursday he was not frightened by U.S. threats to topple his administration and warned that those who attacked Iraq would be "digging their own graves." (sure saddam sure  )
Marking the anniversary of the end of the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war, Saddam called for "equitable dialogue" with the United Nations  ( news - web sites) but made no new offers in response to international calls for weapons inspectors to be allowed back into Iraq. what they dont tell you is after his speech he went into his office and called his mother, telling her "I shit my pants i'm so scared, mommy help me" |
Well, if he truly isnt scared, he should be. I dont think Bush is screwing around, and an attack will certainly come, the sooner the better as far as I am concerned. Saddam has been in power for far too long and his "administration (dictatorship)" needs to be eradicated along with him.
Simply letting in weapons inspectors isnt going to change anything. 1992 - 2002, plenty of time to construct secret labs to develop weapons. I think the Europeans are being completely thick headed in their false hopes of being able to freely get weapons inspectors inside Iraq. They will once again be fucked around by Saddam and his goons and find nothing. Sure, Saddam welcomes them with open arms but his toes are crossed and he is laughing inside saying "these Western pig dogs are more stupid than I could have imagined". Dont trust an Arab, they'll stab you in the back, THAT has been proven.... Kuwait gets invaded now they are in bed with Saddam along with Saudi Arabia who called America in the FIRST PLACE to intervene, touching really. But dont mind my ramblings, I love watching people getting fucked over by murdering bastards, hilarious stuff really. |
i'm sure that the fact he could launch a few SCUDs into their capital loaded with some bio weapons doesn't help them support taking him out.
|
And if Bush doesnt attack(which i highly doubt), Blair will. And he'll talk Bush into attacking anyway. Saddams not scared.....HAhhahahahahahahahahaahahahah. I bet hes shitting in his pants right now hiding in the same bunker as Osamas rotting corpse.
|
nah, he's probably sitting in a school or a hospital where he knows he's safe. that's what he does, he'll build weapons labs underneath hospitals, put SAM sites at mosques, in residential neighborhoods etc.
|
Sorry to rain on the parade, I don't like Saddam, but I don't think the US can really justify invading Iraq. The logic of "he may have or may be devoloping weapon of mass destruction" just doesn't fly. Should we invade China first, they are a bigger threat than Iraq. Mabye we should invade Russia, to make sure all their nukes and biological weopons are destroyed. Just because Cheney and Pappa Bush have a personal vendetta, is no reason to start a war. The reasoning I'm hearing from Washington, says to me, someone ought to invade the US and replace Cheney/Bush because they have access to nukes and bio weopons. I strongly suggest that people step back and think it through. War is wrong, and killing innocent people because you want to prove you have a bigger dick than someone else is stupid.
I know that you all think I'm wrong, but somebody has to speak out against this kind of thing, I am an American, I and I am proud of what Amerca stands for, I don't want to see America become a state that uses its military to "remove" whomever, they don't happen to like at the time, from power. |
I bet when saddam is found hiding in a corner by our troops he'll be protecting himself by using two small children as human shiels.
We are'nt going to go into Iraq to kill inoccents low spark, and we are'nt the only ones who want Sodamn gone, like bean said Blair wants him out also, so do groups in Iraq and most likely the Iraqi people themselve its just that if they speak out against him they die. |

From historyguy.com, regarding the Gulf War:
[quote:991a9]CONSEQUENCES OF CONFLICT: 1. Saddam's second war of foreign conquest ended even worse than the first one. Iraq again stood defeated with the liberation of Kuwait. 2. Despite the crushing defeat and subsequent Shiite and Kurdish rebellions, Saddam's government retained a strong grip on power in Iraq. 3. As a result of the cease-fire terms, Iraq had to accept the imposition of "no-fly zones" over her territory and United Nations weapons inspection teams sifting through her nuclear and other weapons programs. 4. The economic and trade sanctions begun during the war continue to the present day, contributing to severe economic hardship in Iraq. Some reports say hundreds of thousands of children have died due to the sanctions. There are no indications that the government or military suffer undo hardships. [/quote:991a9] To me, it seems that Iraq has violated the terms they agreed to, and must be dealt with accordingly. |

We aren't the only ones that want him out, Blair?,the Iraq people? I'm sorry, but really can't but this as justification for the US to Invade a sovereign nation. We are being bombarded with propaganda to make us believe that such an action is right. My father did not fight in WWII so that his country could go in, remove a government, and replace them with a puppet government that they could control. AGAIN I say it, I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. I do not want to see Cheney/Bush destroy what our people spent 200+ years building, just because they prove that they are big boys. |
Low spark do not twist my words I did not say innocents wouldnt die, its war people die.

Sorry Green got carried away, I was brought up by a man who saw way too many people die in WWII, innocent and not so innocent. My father has had a tremendous influence on my believes about war. So, when/if Cheney/Bush decide to invade a Iraq, don't expect everyone to jump on the bandwagon. It is wrong, It makes the US no better than any other imperialistic country. The arguements being used, could be used to invade any country in the world, which means, does every country in the world have to bend to Americas will or face invasion? Think longterm , don't think shorterm. |

lol. Mate, Blair is too busy having his own country telling him they don't want to take part. Our troops have been pulled out of Afghanistian, while the population grows more and more fed up with the gung-ho approach that the Bushs seem to take. Besides which, if I was in Saddam's position I certainly wouldn't be worried. Even the US's closest allies, including key Arabic nations, are refusing to take part. The scary thing is that there is talk in the US, even if it is by a minority, of taking control of Saudi Arabia. As for bin Laden... you think he's dead? More importantly, do you think it matters whether he is? bin Laden was a face the western media placed to an invisible army, a huge army of people ready, and eager, to die. |
EDIT: Triple post. Sorry. Where's the delete button?

Ummm....Low spark i guess you forgot the fact the 9/11 even took place? HELLO!!! Saddam is a terrorist and if you want to but the blame on anyone for killing innocent people its him. Now lets think about this for a sec.....if you know that Saddam is a terrorist and therefore he could attack the U.S.A., a country which i love and would die for(i shit you not), would you want to a innocent caught in the middle cause you were too stubborn to realize that terrorism is a real threat. I know i personally wouldn't...me or any of my loved ones. We defend what is ours because we want to live the American life. You never know how much you miss something til its gone so dont take America for granted. We stand for whats right in this world!!!

Hes like the big bully at school who wants to kick the crap outta everybody. Thats what i like about him. Hes eager to fight and he knows how powerful Britian and the US are. And trust me we dont need key Arabic nations helping us in this war. And who does Saddam have left to fight his war? The Republican guard.... They didnt do that much damage last time. And of course it doesnt matter if bin ladens dead or not. Well in some cases it does because the civilian population in the US wants to fight somebody. Somebody has to be the bad guy. Osama is that bad guy. With him dead the population will think that the war is over and will want there husbands and sons to come back home. The average american doesnt realize or doesnt care that there is a whole bunch of strong leaders besides Osama and killing him wont make a difference. |

FUCK IRAQ UP NOW
Taken from Sky News yesterday:
Rumsfeld Warns Of Imminent Attack US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has told the world to expect an attack with a weapon of mass destruction. His warning came just hours before Saddam Hussein made a televised address to the Iraqi people. The Iraqi leader has said he won't allow UN inspectors unlimited access to the country amid fears he might have access to such weapons. While Mr Rumsfeld was certain that an attack will happen, he wasn't so sure what the US should do about it. He said the "margin for error" was tiny and any response risked affecting hundreds of thousands of people. But he was adamant that the issue had to be addressed. "People have to expect there will be an event involving a weapon of mass destruction at some point in the future," Mr Rumsfeld said. Now this IS fucking scary Maybe Britain could be seen as an easier target....we're smaller, an attack would do more damage and therefore would be more likely us brits would be wiped out.....jesus christ, im thinking too much....I don't want to die....... |

it is russian equipment, based on a WWII era technology....:\ anyways, i hear his son in laws have defected to, jordan i believe it was, and the US are establishing armorments in Kuwait... should be interesting. Saddam can be taken out just for the fact that he has not let UN weapons inspectors into his country for... 4 years i believe. who knows what crazy shit is going on over there. whatever it is, with a man like him in power, its not acceptable. i think everyone agrees he has to be taken out. |
Everyone, including myself, agrees that the US should invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam...the problem is that our country is in recession, and with our economic troubles, a war is the last thing we need.
Bush's Administration have stated before that the US invasion force sent into Iraq would be much smaller than the, what was it, 300,000 troops that were sent into the Gulf. While everyone agrees that the 300,000 was overkill, sending in less troops would probably mean that the war would last much longer, even with our advanced technology. And who knows what Saddam has up his sleeve. We know that he has rebuilt his army, but are we absolutely positive that they would surrender at the overwhelming force of the US led coalition. And what kind of weapons is he hiding? How do we know he hasn't been biding his time waiting for the right moment to take out as many americans as possible, whether it be by gas, chemical, or, worse-case scenario... nuclear. I don't like this political talk, so I'll stop, but the point is that this gung-ho attitude that we must go into Iraq and topple this ruthless dictator is going to cost our country. It will cost the US money and many American Lives. I will end this useless rant with a joke I heard from Sam Kinison regarding the Scud Missle in the Persian Gulf... You can't f*ck with the United States, because we have the smart bomb. But wait, the Iraqis had the weapon of doom, they had the Scud Missle...and if K-Mart was a weapons dealer, they would sell the Scud missle. Yeah, it's kind of like the F*cking Smart bomb. You see, what you do is, you fire it out of the back seat of your car...woooosssshhh. And then you go home and turn on CNN to see where it landed (laughter), so yeah, it's KINDA like the smart bomb. |
