mohaa online = frustrating >:(
 

Is it me or does there seem to be a delay between the time where you click the mouse to fire and the shot actually firing? IN games like counterstrike its instant but in mohaa there seems to be a slight delay, by the time you've actually started firing your opponent has sighted you and is in the process of riddling you.

sniper rifles are the worst but umm...in a combat situation your brain is umm...busy and stuff...takes a few milliseconds to issue order to pull trigger...um.m..yeah...

Yes we can and its shit all to do with the ping. Ive played on servers nearby me where i ping less than 10 and there still seems to be a slight delay between you pressing and the gun actually firing.

I've never had that problem, it would seem that if you are having that delay with every server you connect to it is a problem with your connection to your ISP. Check out Rude's reply to one of the delay topics in the general discussion forum.

Yes but if that were the case it would affect every game i play online. I play dod counterstrike rtcw and mohaa and mohaa is the only one that has this delay issue :/

Like i said before im not worried. You go to any forum and questions about stuff normally get asked in the most populated part of the forums regardless or not if theres a section for it. Id rather get an answer in a few minutes than wait a few days. :roll:

and BTW mate, your question. I am 56k I am a 220 ping about. I shoot and with any weapon I have almost 1 sec delay. with CS that game is ment not to have that gun delay. MoH is.

Hey Gerard. to be honest I never noticed it. It could be that I have been playing MOH too much now. I'm use to it.

Like hollywood said it could still be lag. I know I can't play this game if my ping is over 100. Where I can play JK2 when I have a ping of 270 and it plays as smooth as silk. When my pings do get over 100 I can defiantly see and feel the delay with firing and hitting targets

We all no MP was a last minute thing and we can see how "not so great and picky" the netcode can be. I will keep an eye on this when I play again. To see if I can notice it as well.

And guys be nice to each other. :D

To tell ya the truth the ONLY way i can kill people is if they don;t see me coming or are facing another direction. I killed you earlier in the server on that market garden map because u weren't facing me and you were in the water whereas i was in one of the houses.

If it comes to me being one on one it always seems i start firing too late for some reason. Im no noob to online games like this and im handy enough at cs but when stuff like this happens yu have to blame the games netcode because i know for a fact im not at fault :/

with my bad video card, i used to get the opposite. i would get great pings on the aa.com server, like..30 or such, since its based right here in boston, but my frame rate would be around 30 because of my old onboard video... :cry:

nowadays i get like a 70+FPS with my gf4 :wink:
