Pellet guns

Anyone know any good sites about pellet guns?

I'm thinking of urchasing one. Anyone have one?

jujumantb 08-12-2002 02:41 PM

You should take a look at airsof guns unless you're planning on hunting small game with it. Airsoft is good because they aren't near as dangerous and shooting people only leaves a nice bruise :)

CeltFury 08-12-2002 02:49 PM

http://www.airsoft.net has some nice Airsoft. Thats were I got mine

ninty 08-12-2002 03:07 PM

I was just looking and it seems that anything over 500fps is a weapon in Canada. So if I purchased anything over that i'd hvae to get it registered etc. like a regular gun. Thats kinda shitty.

How do you like your airsoft gun celt? Is it accurate?

ninty 08-12-2002 03:09 PM

Also I'm looking at getting a rifle not a hand gun.

I would like something that is bolt action. I've found a ton for around $100 US, but no one seems to ship to Canada. I guess i'll ahev to find someone here that sells them.

It only cost $20 so I aint all that great. The sniper rifles are good though. You could get a sniper kit for $99

I had an AirSoft a couple years ago, but I kept shooting peoples windows out so it got taken away.

Just so ya know even though it says it has hop up on it only the PRO VERSION 2.0 has hop so I'm probly not gonna get it from that site. Like $10 more for the pro version and 150% accuracy change

Yeah I was looking at that yesterday.

I went to the hunting department of Canadian Tire today and they ahve about 10 different rifles. I think i'm gonna buy one fomr there. The I don't ahve to pay for shipping or the exchange rate. There were a few there for $130 CDN. If I bought that one, it would be 70 + 30 for S&H = 100 X echange rate = $160CDN. May as well buy it locally. I didn't see any with bot action, though, which i really want, but i'll take a closer look in the next few days.

If you can, try and get a air rifle that is manufactured in Brazil. When I toyed around with them ( a long time ago ) Brazil made the best pellet and air guns around.

Good luck and always remember safety first.

jujumantb 08-13-2002 10:30 PM

Sweet!
I talked my mom into it (at one point she was gonna say no but I did a little fast talking ).
After doing more research on the rifle I was gonna get, people had bad things to say so I decided to get an electric one instead but for about double the price
Here it is the "Fa-Mas" adopted by the French Military I believe. Semi or fully auto fire

I can see your neighbors phoning the police with that thing!

rudedog 08-14-2002 04:42 AM

Don't worry it has a bright orange adapter on the front of it. This way the police know it's only a toy gun. The one in the picture must have fallen off.

I'm seriously they have orange adapter on the front of the gun, and yes they do come off easily.

rudedog 08-14-2002 05:14 AM

Ninty9. Just remember that this is not a toy. You can seriously hurt someone with it.

Practice the same type of respect and safety as if it was real.

Sergeant_Scrotum 08-14-2002 09:01 AM

try here http://www.pyramydair.com/ some nice ones arnt that much $$

Yeah, thats what I'm talking about. I'm 18 years old and I still talked to my parents about buying one. My mom doesn't want me to, but as she said she can't really stop me from buying one. My dad is cool about it, but he wants me to find someplace to shoot before i buy one. I'm not going to shoot in my backyard.

I checked out a indoor range last night. $30/day or $830/year. Pretty expensive. But you also get to use their selection of firearms.

jujumantb 08-14-2002 01:23 PM

ok ok I have finally decided FOR REAL this time after increasing my budget by about $200
I present to you the M4A1: a well know force in the airsoft community
