*clears throat* Screw the children.

Plus they aren't really children, most of those are 15,16,17 year olds.

Why should i cry because some kid was stupid enough to be around when soldiers started shooting. Why should i cry when some of them decided to throw rocks, why should i give a crap when his head is blown off because he was where he shouldnt have been.
Perhaps we need to realize that these kids are from a completely differant world. They dont have childhood, they have combat training. Escape and evasion are how they stay alive to see the ripe old age of 15. Then one day they decide not to run but to stand and fight like so many before them. When doing so they are shot down by people with guns. Its not my fault that they were stupid enough to face overwhelming fire power. For all those little 5 year old kids who die, well it is called civil WAR. Every war has civilain casualties. How many children were killed by US bombs in WW2? Did we simply forget that we were blanketing and entire city with bombs not caring to much where they landed as long as the factory 3 blocks down was destroyed. Wheres your bleeding heart for them? Oh wait you probably never even thought about it much less gave a rats ass. |
wow allmost all are killed by gunfire to the head, them Israelis have hell of an aim :o hate to mess with their army.

Says your newspapers? I'm sure some kids are out their throwing stones, but only after they've had their houses bulldozed down and their family blown to pieces by rockets. How the hell does a stone compare to a rocket or bullet? [quote:bb488]Its not my fault that they were stupid enough to face overwhelming fire power. WW2 was tragic, yes, but there's nothing we can do about it. We can can make a difference in the presence (unless you're just too self-absorbed), byt the very least making people aware of it. A please note, this isn't a war. Nothing has been declared and the Palestinians would need to have a chance for it to be one. Don't try and find an excuse to palm off your caring because you're too spoilt and selfish. |
FWB, I have no answers.
But remeber the age of alot of aa.com members. I didn't think of myself as child when is was in my teens, but looking back a and speaking see teens today, I realize now how much of a child I was and they are. Thanks for the reminder, we tend forget all futures that have been lost on boths sides. |

Neither do I, but my purpose for posting was just as you said: [quote:3f48e]...the reminder, we tend forget all futures that have been lost on boths sides.[/quote:3f48e] [quote:3f48e]But remeber the age of alot of aa.com members. I should control myself, I just get a bit annoyed up every now and then by some comments. A side note to others, the link isn't just about Palestinian children, but all kids, from both sides, who have suffered. |
actually,the unintentional killing of civilians
in war is not "civil WAR" its called Collateral Damage. I'm sure not all the deaths of these children was murder by the Isrealies, some maybe, but in this hostile situation there is going to be casualties...Intended or not. and seeing as were on the subject of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, I'm sure the Israelis have a similar list of children killed that you can be sure of was by terrorist murderers |
