Interesting....

Did you notice that all good computer games made in America (in my opinion) are some way or another related to EA? I mean EA ownz everything now. What good game do you know of made completley in the US and you think is good (has to be for comp).
BF1942 is originated in Europe just so u know.

ninty 08-15-2002 04:58 PM

Return to Castle Wolfenstien...good game....with no connection to EA.

ToK Parker 08-15-2002 05:04 PM

aaah

Ah yeah I forgot about the Wolfensteins... It looked like a good game to me.

FWB 08-15-2002 05:08 PM

Good US games... hmm

Well Quake/Doom aren't EA, I believe. Same with Westwood's C&C, the Civilisation/Masters of Orion series. Apogee were great, during their hey-days, but I think they're Canadian.

Great "European" games:

GTA (GTA3 was half Scottish - surprise, surprise that they'd come up with such an idea :) - half American, I think)
Deus Ex
Championship Manager (I believe N.Americans are going to be getting a hockey version of this... you're in for a treat as CM is THE football managing game, you couldn't ask for more).
Operation Flashpoint
