Rudedog's Picture pack WWII DVD movie rips
This was posted b4 but was lost when the board was moved.
I have put together a series of images that you can use for whatever you want. Most people use them in sigs. But you could use them on web sites or anything else you can think of. Right now I am working on “the devils brigade” which should be released very soon. Hope you guys can use these. This time from the DVD, “ The Longest Day” zip is 3.5 megs -Sorry for the size but too many good pictures to pass on A total of 130 pics all in jpg format already compressed Some sample pics These are smaller then the actual pictures as I wanted to make them forum friendly Down load here: [url:320e3]http://www.landi.net/jim/files/ld.zip[/url:320e3] some other from my past posts Enemy at the Gates [url:320e3]http://www.landi.net/jim/gate.zip[/url:320e3] End of Saving private Ryne [url:320e3]http://www.landi.net/jim/files/SPR_end.zip[/url:320e3] Omaha from Saving private Ryne [url:320e3]http://www.landi.net/jim/files/SPR_omaha.zip[/url:320e3] A bridge to far [url:320e3]http://www.landi.net/jim/files/pics.zip[/url:320e3] D-Day a DVD documentary [url:320e3]http://www.landi.net/jim/files/DDay.zip[/url:320e3] Hope you like them |

Thanks |
Just download all of em, and you'll have em all! biggrin:

Wanted to keep the downloads small for the "no so broadband endowed" members

Which prog do you use for capture?
|
I use 2 problems, one to rip the DVD to my hard drive and the other to capture the screens from the vobs .
I put both of the programs here for people to download: http://members.cox.net/jlandi/DVD_SS_stuff.zip Very easy to use smartripper to rip the dvd DVD2AVI to pull screenshots from and if you don't have the latest aspi layer. I've included forceaspi17.zip dvd2avi has a small bug. just change the color dept from what ever it currently is to the other choice. You will then be able to press B to capt. the bmp image. It will be placed in the same dir. as dvd2avi |
how do u use the rips in the forms oOo:
|
You can edite them in a paint program and add them to your sig.
Check the faq's for info on how to add a picture to your sig. |
think ya can mak a Patton one or tora tora tora?
|
I will see if I can find the DVDs this week end. If I can I will do another rip.
|

Bump for some of the newer members
Help your self to some nice WWII picuters for sigs, clan pages, web site. |
Rude, is there a way to take SS's of DivX films? I got a sheet-load of .AVI's and some great pics.
|
I put together a couple of files to rip DVDs. In here you can use DVD2AVI to try and capture your divix movies.
Get the file here http://www.landi.net/jim/files/dvd.zip once you have it installed, There is a bug in the screen capture part. just change color dept in one of the menus. Does not matter what. You can then press B to grab a frame. If you have problems let me know |
Yet again, thanks Rude. biggrin:

Hey, i'm just bumping this so more people can see it. Thanks a lot Rudedawg. I recon you should put this in the introduce yourselves/sig test forum. They'll love it over there.

And have you ever heard of a movie called 'Crawler'? Its a WWII movie and it had GREAT action scenes with very detailed events. See if you can find it. I looked everywhere but i cant find even the smallest detail of the movie. Its like it has never even existed. =\ |
I would also like to thank Rudedog for the pics. Its fun to mess around with em in psp!
