How are the pings?
I just deleted my email from them with the new aa.coms game server info cry: Hopefully they will send it out ASAP so I can get our server over there. Looking forward to better pings |
I have about 18 less in ping.
|
Can't wait to see how my pings will be.
|
My ping was at 30 last time i was on there. My fps were in the 100's due to overclocking my card! ed:
|
110 on old, 90 on new, avg fps ~ 24, LOL eek:
|
My ping dropped around 15. biggrin:
|
Do you guys have bazookas yet???
|
yeah there in there! evil: zooka: bigzooka:
|
my ping was 120.
maybe its because i set my resolution to 800x600, but the game was not lagging so it was oke |
OK, maybe I'll check out the svr now, since there's rockets, heh
If I get time, I'll drop by tonight. |
Lag Info
Higher pings are not as important as "packet loss"
You can have a high ping of lets say 180 and packet loss of 2% or less and can have a smoother game than a player that has a low ping of 40 and packet loss of 10% or higher The "ASE" All Seeing Eye game browser shows ping and packet loss for all servers It shows: Ping - your ping to the individual game server P/L - packet loss between you and the game server Flux - this is just the percentage difference of players pings =[DOA]=BallBuster |
What is packet loss?
|
Packet Loss
Packet Loss measures the reliability of a connection.
A known chunk of data (packet) is sent to the router and then the router is supposed to send the same data back unaltered (echo). If the packet returns intact then there was 0% packet loss and that is good. If the packet returns with half of its data garbled or missing then that is 50% packet loss, which is poor. 100% packet loss means the packet never returned |
The delay comes from your computer having to resend the data that it determines was corrupted via Balls post.

oke thx guys
