Wouldn't it be nice to be like most countries
I wish the U.S. was like most countries and didn't get in everyones business. Even when we help people get mad at us. And now everything escalates. First we have to attack Afganastan. Then because we had so many troops we mangaged to let them Bin laden slip out. Now we know that iraq has um. So now we attack iraq.
Problem is the enemy is seeing everything we are doing. So by now they are out of the iraq. THey just turn on cnn. Oh amreica is gaurding that pass go to that one. I think if the press could just report the resuslts and not whats gonna happen. And now if we do attack Iraq we still have our huge disadvantages. We take the vaule of life much higher than any country. Its good too. I wouldn't want to die and not have my body be brought back. But thats what hurts us. When somone gets hit anoter guy will run out die then another that brings um both back. So now we got 1 kia and another probable kia. In somalia they didn't take life for much, they stood on oposite sides of the street firing at the humvess (most can't aim so they either shot the sun :-) or hit there own people. Ok nevermind I guess it works out if you vaule life and if you don't. But just so you know Iraq is no afganistan. They are better equiped and trained. Good luck to anyof you goin out there. Me, -- being the coward I am, I am at my desk job or would be. biggrin: . Actually when I am 18 I was thinking of going to the army. They said they pay some of your college. So thats good cause I want to go to med school and I don;t wanna be in too much debt. When i go colllege is expected to cost 55 Grand a year. Well thats Duke and where I wanna go. I wish I lived in NC I would love to go to UNC specially for so much less. |
Haha U really think were attacking iraq because there hiding bin laden? Bin Laden is mostly likey dead. The gov't is only telling us hes alive to keep support up at home. Little susie homemaker needs something to make her give up her son or husband. And trust me, if we attack iraq we will not lose. I guarantee it. U can all beat me to a pulp if we do. Another vietnam could never happen. Who else does Sadam have left to fight? Hes republican guard... Yeah they did a real good job last time. Lets send in some special ops or some paratroppers and see who wins the war.

umm.. as you have noticed Saddam is shifting to a new and more effective strategy. Urban warfare. Look how America handled that, they got in deep shit in Somalia, Mogashidu or wutwever. The whole population will be against any special forces the US sends in, both American and civilian casualitites wil be very high. Plus Sadam could and even will use biological weapons. Without much of America's allies support if an attack is to be done the outcome dosent seem so good. |
should just fund the resistance groups and give them some air cover. their country anyway, they'd probably have a better chance killing saddam since he'll surround himself by as many women and children as possible.
either that or send them michael jackson. |
*in the voice of r. lee ermy* you should all get down on your knees and thank God for America.
think about it. what kind of world would this be if the US had remained isolationist? an all communist korea. iraq overrunning its neighbors. there would be no Isreal. and don't forget all that humanitarian aid$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ |
i wouldn't mind too much if saddam overran all his neighbors, they all hate us anyway angel:
|
I am damn glad America is not like other countries (especially France, Germany) the one place we need to change is either with a moretoreum on immigration, or limiting it greatly. damn illegals M16:
|
we should let iraq over run its neighbors THEN attack. we would only have to fight one country, and its army would be spread thin. also, once we conquered it, we would have control over most of the middle east. yeah, and the saudis suck, they wouldn't be a country without us.

Buddy, if the US didnt get involved more the world would be even more unstable than it is now. I dont have to show proof because anybody with a brain would realise that. Perhaps rethink strategies, but show no involvement in International issues ?? The word collapse comes to mind.
CNN doesnt report current troop movements, especially when combat is concerned. Conventional forces (a big fat) hell no, Special Forces ?? Not on your life. There is a thing called Operational Security which involves all facets of a military operation. The media will not and cannot know jack about troop locations, size of force and/or designated targets. That would completely throw out the use of sending the military into an operation in the first place. Most news that news networks get is blackened out sketchy info on almost always, irrelevant information. Western civilisation (America, Canada, Britain, Australia, Germany, you name it...) does hold life higher than any other values. Where the Arabs/Muslims and any other backward nation on earth forfeit their love for life we show them that we give a damn about life, thats its precious and it's not something to fuck around with. But when push comes to shove we will most definately kick their skinny asses back into the stone age (if they arent there already) and show them who is boss and who NOT to fuck with. Sure, it may just be America and its faithful (maybe blind ??) followers from other nations who end up taking on Iraq after (hopefully) all diplomatic solutions have been exhausted, but we ("we" being the Coalition against Iraq) will definately not lose, and I think, as demonstrated by those tough as fuck Rangers and SFOD-D boys in Somalia back in '93, Close Quarter Battle and MOUT (Military Oprtations Urban Terrain, for those not in the know) Operations are a specialty that Western Military forces are heavily trained in and quite capable of carrying out. Zxcvnm, America doesnt need any support to wage a war against Iraq...mostly Saddam. If they hit hard and fast the US could take Iraq in the same amount of time it took the Coalition forces to defeat Iraq in the Gulf War. 100 hours. But ofcourse there will be massive air attacks and bombings first, taking out airfields and bunkers, SAM sites and radar stations, oops, I mean hospitals and schools. All this will happen before a main assault occurs, by then most the draftees from the Iraq "army" will be devastated emotionally and psychologically, and they will, like they did in the Gulf War, give up with little or no resistence. Iraq has no chance against a massive assault from the United States alone. Not a chance in hell. The US could just fund the resistence groups over there, but how large of a force are these resistence groups ?? Are they after a free and democratic Iraq or just after the same bullshit power hungry crap that Saddam was all about ?? Personally I would prefer to see massive amounts of Coalition troops there instead of a puny resistence force, it would feel safer to me, and if your gonna do something right, you gotta do it yourself. Personally, I think that only after diplomatic talks have been exhausted should an attack go ahead. If Saddam is dickheaded enough to think he can take on the United States he's about to get a big fucking wakeup call, just like those fruity little arrogant Taliban pricks got. They thought they were invincible...look where they are now.... Woah.....didnt mean to write an essay on it... eek: |
an alternative plan would be to carpet bomb them with bananas and parachute in camera crews. they seemed scared shitless of those things in '91.

it cost money to go to war, and you make it sound like america has all the money in the world to do this.......hahahahaha you should pick up a newspaper once in awhile there dude. |
i dont think the US is gonna trust resistence forces much anymore, over in afghanistan many of them got bribed by al qauida and let bin laden escape. If we do invade iraq i can say it will probably take longer than in desert storm. Sadam fucked up back then, he let us group up ang get everything in order and postion ourselves befoe he attacked, which was too late by then. He also put all his new guys in the front lines and set all his vets in the back. I guess we'll find out if iraq can learn or if they are just plain stupid. Also if we do attack sadam will probably have all arabic countrys on his side.
Whatever happens though i am confident we can take em evil: |
i never said we should trust them, just use em to do our dirty work angel:
|
iraqi, they r the crap army they are no match for us sure we'll loose some soldiers but we'll blow their coldiers sky high. we wont even send soldiers down before we blow their city up with fuel air or cruisemissle or whatever then we'll send soem fighter and bomobers over therer and kill their asses
|
Never said we would lose. Who cares if all of asia is communist. When that happens there would be so much corruption they would destroy themselves. Anyway commies are capturing more and more of countries everyday.
The reason we don't drop carpet bombs is that we respect the children and women so we don't shoot um. So gunners have thier wives and kids surround um and shoot at us. We have to throw a flash bang scare them away then shoot. |
Iraq has the 4th largest army in the world.
Don't underestimate your enemy. |

Fuck this shit. I dont think AMerica should be the primary attack force. The middle-east hates the US, why should we help them and sacrifice US men for them. I think the US should sponsor the resistance and just air bomb the place while resistance troops do the primary fighting. This is gonna turn into a disaster if we send in troops in like another vietnam but this time its gonna be called another Iraq.
I trust the Iraq resistance, they want revenge after SAddam tried to annihilate their population with nerve gas. |

the anit-communist policy of the US was pointless but it did keep the munitions industry in business for several decades. whatever good the US does in international peacekeeping is muted by the fact that any time they want to attack someone without the support or approval of the UN they do it anyway. they also pussy out just as well as the UN whenever it suits them......
