You got the same computer specs as me, except I have SoundBlaster sound cards.

The only thing i would take is the video card.

That's pretty much a top-of-the-line setup, and it doesn't matter what brand it is, it just matters what's inside. I build mine, so it doesn't have a name obviously. Brands like Compaq and Gateway just cut corners anyway and give you generic parts, not to mention that they are way overpriced.

No crap. I built mine with pretty much the same specs, except i run a G4 4200ti 128DDR and a 60 gigger. Companies blow.

hey guys was thinking of bulding my own pc in few weeks any one got any ideas on what i should buy i have 2 60 gigs in this pc and a gf4 320mg ram its a new prosser realy what me looking for i have a athlon 1.2gig had a pntuim 5.50mghz but i think this athlon ant that much faster still have that other pc forgot about it till now dame idiot shoot me fire2:

i plan on upgrading my gfx card to a Radeon 9700 pro i'm almost there :D

im very happy cause i just bought a G force 2 400mx today! its actully a pretty good card, i just played an online game of MOH with all the settings on max for 2 hours straight & it only began to get a bit chuggy around the end & thats due to my need of more ram.

i just built a p4 1.8 gig with 2 sticks of 512 ddr memory,radeon card with 64 meg of onboard memory.sound blaster audigy,40 gig hard drive,runnin xp home edition.did a few tweaks.now its runnin at 1923.thought about the 2.5 but the money difference was too much.still very well pleased and im sure you will be too.good luck with it...BUTCHER

I do have a P4 2.53 but with only 1 gig of RD1066 ram and a Ti4600. That I built from the ground up.

RD? what type of mobo did u get. im gettin ready to build a new pc.....

I have had everything from supermicro to abit and like the stability and customer service from ASUS

They were also the only ones who supported the p4 2.54 with 533 fsb,

They are always updating there bois as well which makes it nice when upgrading

the new pentium 2.8's are out, 2.53's droped 300 in price :). anyway, its a custom built, i didnt build it, but its not a gay-paq or hpgay that u cant upgrade. i have a compaq POS with a celeron 500 and a gf2mx400 best pci card. mohaa and bf1942 run = SHIT!!! ahhh... i cant wait till i get it, friday at latest, they have to build and test it

yes i was going to buy that except the problem that my computer is 4 years old & the card would never run on my computer. but hey! its better than a vodoo 3 3000 (what i had)

when i first played mohaa i had a voodoo 3 3000 pci. i got the gf2 in january

no everybody can afford to get the latest greatest..the guy up graded his card to what he probably could afford to get..hes satisfied with it..so why beat him up about it...it never fails around here...someones happy about an upgrade...and 10 people jump in and have to brag about theres being better...it takes a real jackass to knock a guy down whos feelin good about something he did or just got...I SAY..if hes happy..im happy for him..good luck with your card.. i hope it works great for ya...ENOUGH SAID..BUTCHER

Uh how the hell do you build a comp?. Is it easy like sticking certain parts in an exact location and it has a manuel.

its a little tougher then that...i expect most people could put it together ...GETTIN IT TO RUN PROPERLY..NOW THATS SOMETHIN ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT...LOL...if your of a mind to build one..i suggest you start reading about it as much as you can.lots of how tos on the web...BUTCHER
