Christ, For months I've been telling my friends to watch it, they watch the first 1/2 hour and turn it off because it was too slow and "predictable what they were going to say..."

Yeah, the dickheads changed it from widescreen 5:1 to fullscreen. Made a fucking mess of it too. Trust Australian TV to fuck it up. Apart from that screw up which will all be fixed once I get my hands on the DVD pack, it was awesome. The battle scene at the 88's was pure chaos and constant noise. Outstanding, every bit of it.

yeah the camerawork on those trenches was awesome.

i get a rehashed version of channel 9 for regional... wankers stuck a bigass logo over the whole broadcast like they doing somethin special by pushing play 11 months after they ran the first coming-soon ads.

Yeah Wook, I mean when they aired the Star Wars trilogy they showed it in 5:1... I'm confused with all the ratios, Is 5:1 not TOTAL widescreen but it does have the black bars ? That's what they showed SW in, and it looked great...

Hey r3mix, I'm in regional too so I get the same fucking problem... They put that fucking watermark on like, 2 days before Band of Brothers went to air... Just to spite me I'll bet :( And it had to be blue so it couldn't blend in with the background... Their old small yellow one up in the top right hand corner used to piss me off... NOW THIS!?!?

lol i havent even see them yet ill wait till they come out on dvd so i wonter have to come here and bitch about the water mark. dvds are great the sound is and the piucture is almost as good as hdtv
