Getting bored with this game
 

Anyone else getting bored with this game? I am the same thing everyday i play. No support from EA no nothing im going to quit moh and go baco to modding for Max Payne and Sof!

For the most part I still enjoy the game, but I think it's because of the commaradery between the players I've played with. But even that seems to be lacking these days.

So, yes, I'm quite bored with the game. It's the same crap every day.

I think that's the idea... Right now it's the same stuff on all the maps, even the new ones. Thankfully there was the CTF releases, but even those have a tendency to lose their flare after a while.

I personally can't wait for the exp pack.

nope. not boring for me. cant wait for new Spearhead expansion. When i do get burnt out i play America's Army....but i always come back. no sure why i enjoy this game so much. my wife is baffled by it as well. normally i beat a game then move on to the next. usually play nothing but RTS and RPGs. might be my fascination with all things war....

Yea personally i still think this game is great. I play it everyday and i never get bored. If i do get bored i will go on msn for a while then i always come back to play more...i dunno what it is...this game is amazing

Have hope von, Like someone said, take a break and play some other games, until the exp comes out. If it's getting bored I can understand that. I have played BF1942 and while I enjoy that game a lot. I still find myself coming back to MOH for the action.

Also I just uploaded 5 new maps and 1 new update on the aa.com server. I also have a ton of new Obj based maps coming soon.

The Exspansion pack well hopefully bring medal of honor back to life. 12 multiplayers maps sounds very cool and 9 new single player missions. I do agree at first its was the best game I have ever played, I still love moh but its becoming more of a time killer then a what it use to be.

Hey Von , hate to see you go buddy , I'm used to seeing your name in the list when I join the server. biggrin: But I understand your getting bored , you've been playing this game quite a bit. I try to give it a break for 2 or 3 days a week and some days I don't even crank up the PC. This is the first MP I ever played so it's still fun and kinda new for me and I'm a little reluctant to move on into another game but I think I'm going to try 1942, kinda like Wintersforge, I only like the WW2 ones, It's going to be released in a couple of weeks I think , I tried to DL the MP demo but it kept getting hung up so I'll wait for the CD release. I plan to alternate between MOH and 1942 , but who knows , I might not like 1942. Keep MOH on your PC so you can come back to see us when you tire of the other ones. Good luck Von.

Oldguy, i just downloaded bf1942 (just like everyone else to see if it is any good). I started to play and yeah it was fun, but there was noooo action with guns--only vehicles. There isn't that much skill in the game since you only get like 8 kills a round if you are lucky. Too much time went into creating vehicles and less time went into the guns and actual hand to hand combat.

The game is fun to fool around with but other than that, it lacks skill. No one can actually say, "Oh, i'm the king of bf1942!! I can kick all of yo' asses jigga!"

My opinion, download it and have a fun time for a bit, but you'll understand what i mean once you die from a BAR that was about 9842985353249977 yards away that you didn't see.

MOHAA will always be my favorite!

Yeah im pretty bored with it too. Latly i've tried some new sounds and skins and such but its still the same. Im gonna hang around until spearhead comes out and see where things go from there.

Still undecided wheater im gonna buy it or "not", im gonna see what you guys post about it first. Theres to many other games coming out that will be awsome, ut2003, and Doom3 to name a few. Im playing a waiting game on mohaa, to see if its worth my money.

i enjoy trying new maps

Ive had this game since the demo! And besides seeing the same people everyday is boring too. IM going to quit moh and go back to partying every night in clubs. Ill play thisgame for a more days then im erasing moh!

im nto bored with this game, and i have been playing since the demo. i think every day its a new deal cause something always happens like today.. i was playing round based against this {H(l)F} (hmf) clan and they were really really good... and really great guys. i had a good time with them. yesterday me and a few waffen guys caused a ruckus on friendly fire servers and that was fun. im still in love with moh very much.

Same here... it is the opponents that I play with that makes it so much fun.

I was bored a while ago (even playing with my clanmates), but we managed to re-light the fire by reaching out for alliances with other clans, some friendly games, training new recruits.. etc

Cannot wait for Spreadhead thu! biggrin:

Thanks Garry, your opinion of the game counts and it looks like the maps are huge. Maybe I'll try to DL it again, and try it before I spend my money on it . I'm looking forward to the exp. pack for mohaa . That I will definately buy. Wonder what the release date for that is now?

i still love the game. besitde its the first game that i play online, together with sof2 and moh is just so much better so why would i play another one

Battlefields awsome I can get 40 points around if i get things at teh right time. People hate me as a pilot cause i just use it for trasnportation to the airfield where i parachute onto a roof by the flag with my no 4. I get most of my kills off mines and X-packs. Great to amubsh people speically when 3 vehcials in a row got 5 kils haha

I agree with Sindo. I love playing when players have a sense of humuor. Crackin' jokes back and forth is a blast. Those are the best games. Von, you burned out cuz' you play too much.

I was forced to give up MOH for a few weeks due to a hardware problem with my CD-ROM drive. I was feeling a little bored with it too, at the time, so it wasn;t a huge deal. When I finally got back to playing MOH, it was better than ever, man. I must've hopped on the aa.com server 4 or 5 different times yesterday.

So, take a break and come back when we all parachute into Holland in Spearhead.

I agree the people I play with keep me coming back.

For me mohaa is never boring. I have loved the game since i got it in early march, and like oldguy this was my first fps online game. Before mohaa i played combat flight simulator 2 and IL2--hehe im a big combat flight sim fan. Sometimes i get frustrated, but not bored...i usually take a few days off and then come back...i think thats the best method.

I find myself playing less and less of MOH every day. I guess that isn't too good considering I'm in a clan. I don't suck yet but I probably will soon. This too is my first online game so I guess that's why I played it so much. It is getting boring now.

Anyways, I said that the game is repetive in the way it plays, but the community itself if what makes it fun to play; this includes the server, the players, the actual game enviroment, and the variety of maps.
