do u like em? i do, i like the gun, it rox ^^, i raked in 101 kills and 1 death on one of the maps b4 in a bell tower....

101-1? I would have liked to see that if you were just hiding in the bell tower the whole time. You must have been playing against a bunch of retarded people, lol. I like snipers, because most of them are not very good. There are some snipers though that are excellent and can take you out anytime. Personally I like using a plain ole' rifle myself. I dunno why, I guess it makes me feel like I have accomplished something when I break even or get a 2-1 ratio with the Mauser or M1 on a stock server.

Either you were playing against a bunch of n00bs or it wasn't realism and no one else had the sniper.
On CKR I have killed so many belltower campers with my BAR or Garand, it's not even funny.

You must have been playin againts a bunch of idiots to get that maney kills because of course all other snipers know to look in sniper locations for enemy snipers. I cant beleive they couldnt find you in the bell tower. Well it sucks for them and good for you they could of just threw a grenade or sniped you or blow up but their probably to stupid to do that any wat so good job in the kills. I got 45 kills and 5 deaths on the forward trenches map thats my best record. biggrin: So good Job Soilder cool:

u probably had the highest in kills.. but the worst ratio. example johnny has 70 kills 56 deaths. missy has 50 kills 3 deaths. whos better?

I love being a sniper, my comp gets jumpy at LAN games in close quarters combat. I've made due with being a sniper and made due well. I love it when i drop people right and left from a single spot. Everybody's dead bodies are dropping like lil bitches and everybody freaks out because they can't find me before i put a bullet through their head. evil:

I crush campers like you! I love the shotty for that reason. You never know when I'll pop up behind you!!!

Snipers are sometimes campers but if they move around and snipe at the same time their not campers but if they stay in one place and shoot then their campers.

I agree. If the sniper moves around then he is "defensively positioning" him/herself. If they stay in one spot, then they are not only campers but idiots. The most kills a sniper should get from any hidden nest is 3, and that's pushing it.

Also, I almost never get into the high ground positions on the maps, because that is the first place the opponents will look. freak:

Snipers are supposed to be campers. After they feel they need to, they relocate. But MOHAA is just a game and doesn't show how snipers really act.

Their are some players that dont even know on some maps their are good hiding places where snipers can position themselves to make a decent kill. Instead of taking cover and looking for a sniper they just run head on in and probably most of the time get shot. So its like if your a sniper find a spot take 3 kills then move to another and so on and so on becuase if u just stay in one spot and snipe the whole game u would be thought of as a camper so snipers need to move around to different spots instead of staying in one spot the whole game.

fire1: i love snipers. snipers are the best. you can wahck many people with them. the best place to snipe on destroyed village (dm2) is the building next to the church. there are several cracks in the wall which you can owen people. i always go here. for the never know where i am.

I actually fancy myself as a sniper hunter. I have spent hours on the different maps locating different spots snipers like. That isnt to say I dont kill other classes. I especially like doing the "Assualt Sniper Rifle" approach and surprise the other team by charging with my sniper rifle and getting close combat kills. Then you have to deal with the aimbot accusations (why dont people understand that a rifle is more accurate then an SMG?) but most snipers hear this alot anyways. Nothing like laughing your butt off at the SMGer who runs into a room spraying bullets everywhere being dropped in one shot from a sniper rifle without using the scope...lol.

I love sniping. Finding that sweet spot where no one ever sees you. No I dont mean the places where the nOObs hide. The only draw back to being a good sniper as many of you have said are all the aimbot or wall hack accusations from shottywhores. They just get pissed off that their shot guns wont kill us at one thousand yards in one shot but our rifles can. Yep being a sniper is fun biggrin:

and B) Becasue i had team mates protecting my ass from behind.

Im a sniper freak, and I noticed you had "99" confirmed kills on your Hathcock quote, its actually 93 confirmed kills, but he has over 100 unconfirmed.

Anyway, I love snipers, im not a homocidal freak, but I like them as much to where im shooting for one in the USMC, basically im trying to be one, and I think ill make it. In MOHAA you guys basically said everything I do for skills, except how I hide... I usaully camp around the edge of a map so enemies cant come up from behind you and shoot ya in the ass. And I always make sure im on my teams side so they can be the frontline, and I of course always relocate, people always find ways of killing you in the hardest places to kill a sniper. My best score was on Crossroads 98/3

I just played Multi-Player MOHAA for the first time last night. I love the graphics and the realism.... but i am a n00b so i aint the best. I have to say the snipers kicked my ass... i was experimenting with the guns to find one i like, i would have to say my record so far was 20 kills and 9 loses.. is that ok?? I am thinking about joining a clan sooner or later but i think i will keep playing for a while until i sharpen up a bit. GL guys eatthis:
