Why? Thats for mohaa on the consoles only, this has nothing to do with mohaa so it goes here.

at the time when that was probably made, ye sDreamcast had way mor ebetter games then PS2...but not anymore

yet DC has way mor ebetter games then the Xbox and Gamecube right now though...that system ruled...too bad people go for "bigger" and "graphics mean everything man" type shit.

I never got dreamcast, I played a demo in Software etc. of their air combat game, saw that the Tomcat had 70+ missiles and the F-22 had over 100 and decided Dreamcast was not for me.

So you base a purchase of a console on one game. Umm yeah....good thinking....... eek:

actually I found out that console games are all arcady and innacurate long ago, back in the Sega Genesis days.
They're geared toward a different audience than PC games. Mostly for kids, because they don't have the patience to sit through a cutscene longer than 4 seconds and only see the middle of the screen, so using a radar or map is out of the question.
(believe me I know about kid attention spans, I "got volunteered" to watch a 6 and 8 year old and I tried to teach them to play X-Wing alliance, WWII fighters, and MOHAA to keep em busy....eh not a good idea)

most PC games are generally more realistic and harder to learn, consoles have endless swarms of enemies in hope to tire you to the point that you make a mistake.

Pyro 10-04-2002 09:47 PM

hmm, heh consoles have LONG cutscenes especially in RPGs and games like MGS 2.

Hmm, geared towards kids you say...remember GTA 3 came out for console first.

NFL 2k series and the NBA2k on Dreamcast was the better than anything PS2 had. Those two series destroy Madden and NBA Live in my eyes.

Speaking of Nintendo, I use to love Baseball Stars that game had all the features build your own team buy players and power them up. After every game your team received more money for team improvements. That game was ahead of it's time and you didn't need a memory card to save your information.

I love the old games, I have yet to complete lemmings on the mastersystem, or gaunlet which has something like 501 levels ed: and two player on the consoles was great fun!

I remember a game on the snes that had 4 space fighters and you were one of them and you had to keep in formation. you wingmen were rabbits and frogs and stuff. i could never get the hang of that game.

final fantasy has some of best cut sequences around.

Starfox, it's also for N-64
the hordes of enemies are really annoying, sometimes ther's no humanly possible way to dodge all their shots.

Pyro 10-05-2002 12:19 PM

starfox for n64, after you beat it once it basically takes you 30 minutes to beat the whole game again

Final Fantasy II and III (really IV and VI) for SNES in my opinion were the best two FFs...FFVII was REALLY REALLY REALLY good too...but 8 and 9 I didn't really care for. FFX was cool though.
