Rate stuck at 99999 on MOHAA Server

I just upgraded to Windows XP and installed MOHAA. I set up all my buttons went into my server and was at a 20 ping, the server is very nearby.

I then left the game and came back later and I was stuck at a 48 SOLID. Then after a while it started going up to 500-999. I go into rcon status and it shows me as the only one in the game with a 99999 rate. I know this is the cause. I have mine set at xDSL and I have tried manually setting it to 10000 in the unnamedsoldier.cfg as well. Anyone have any experience in this that could lend me some help.

Funny thing is, I can go to any other server and play with no problems at all. I just seem to be stuck at 99999 here in my own serer, and that is not good. I am sure of this now since I just brought my buddies computer over with Windows 98 and he has the same problem. It must be a server issue, but there must be a fix. *praying* hehe

There are two max rates. one you set for the serve and one for the client.

Make sure you have your server's server.cfg file set correctly first

For your clinet (yourself) pull down a consol window and type rate x where x = the rate you wish to set.

I have done that as I indicated in the post. I know all the command lines. And the rate for our server is 20000. It is just wierd that I am still at 99999 since there is a cap. I am wondering if it is a problem somewhere along my ISP - MOH server path.

Funniest thing is, I formatted XP and installed MOHAA. The very first time I played MOH I got 15-30 ping on my server. The next time I load it up it sticks at 48 and does not budge 1ms either way, except for that minute it may spike on me. It will then go back down to 48. I ran a tracert to the server ip and it says 19-29ms. Like I said, this is absolutely perplexing.
