OK, I feel like a total n00b but whatever. I decided to install MOH after not playing it for months. I installed and upon boot up it will freeze right at the grey screen before the EA symbol comes up. The cursor will move but nothing will happen. I tried with the patch and without the patch. I reinstalled to no avail.

Anyone know why?

I think its a sound card issue. I've had tons of problems with it.

Screw it. I guess I won't be playing MOH or Spearhead any time soon.

OK i figured it out.

In order for me to run MOH i have to put my sound card at full acceleration.

In order for me to run BF1942 acceleration has to be off.

Man thats gay.

Anyway, now I can play some of you foos on rudes server.

The music makes me nostalgic. Ahh the memories...

What kind of soundcard are you using? Please don't tell me it's on-board, either. Did you try driver updates for it?

Its an Sis 7012.

And yeah, I have all the latest drivers for it.
