The PC version will definatly better. Mods, online play, and GFX that are higher res than the Xbox. I would urge you not to get an Xbox because most of the good games coming out for it will also be on PC. Don't spend $300 bucks on an Xbox, spend $150 on PC upgrades.

or 300$ on pc upgrades for that matter...

Sheesh, don't you guys yet realize how copatible the Quake III Engine is? It can run on anything faster that a PII 400 with 16 MB Video.

Umm won't the xbox be running at a really high resolution? It's using the same chip as the current GF3 and the entire system is designed for gaming, so I would think it would have higher performance than PCs currently available. I know that may change when they release a GF3 ultra or whatever is next, but for now isn't it better?

PC still has its advantage of the mouse and keyboard. U sure could tell that when a Q3 player with an PC and a Q3 player with a Dreamcast met on the same Q3 servers...

For now, yes. But it will be quickly out-classed by PCs. PC's can be upgraded, consoles cannot.

PC games will allways be better!!!!!!! PS2 is hot too.........
