About Server Stats...
Well, my support tech IMed me tonight. Said that they run MOH as a service and therefore the logs don't output correctly. Unfortunately the only information logged is people trying to connect and disconnect.
Does anyone know if this can be fixed? What's the deal with the server as a service (I know what it means, but why would it only output brief logging instead of verbose)? If I can help them get this going, then I'll not only be able to have this for my own server, but I'll be able to help others set it up. So all help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I have a copy of the log that was generated. If dev's out there are interested in seeing what was logged, please e-mail me (liam@allaboutnothing.net). Thanks MUCH in advance! |
Most likely has to do with the way console video output is being redirected by the force-as-service program. Weird output issues are common with these types of programs, usually video related however sometimes not. I would suggest double checking that developer is being set to 1, and if a correct log is created when run as a normal dedicated server (not service) under the same user account used for running as a service. You may have some weird permissions error, that should flush it out. Other than that, get them to put you on a Linux box instead, that version works much better.
