Southern France Report.....how'd he do it?
 

Im kinda new to this game....(a month or two of playtime)...but today i was playin in Southern France and this sniper was on the roof of a building....it was the one above one of those two rooms on either side of the bridge in the central square.....if anyone knows how he got up there....i'd like to know...im not complaining that he was there by any means....but it was so cool....anywayz.....thx for any answers.

the reason you didnt get an answer yet is b/c what you are talking about is a map glitch, and people hate those things.

but since im a MOHAA Hacker myself, i will go ahead and explain it to you.

1. If you look in the central square you will see a wood pole with a wire attached to the roof of the building. Goto the balcony on the other side of the bridge, that is closest to the pole.

2. Now jump up on the railing of that balcony and keep your balance.

3. Back up as far as you can, and then run and jump on the wire.

4. Once on the wire walk onto the roof, and there ya go!

If you need any other explaining of map glitching or any in other maps, just give me a holler.

i will most likely get flamed for this, but you know what. Hackers dont give a shit about whiners. Thats why they hack in the first place.

Yup i ran into the same deal. I found soilders all on the roof. Until i figured out to stand across the railing but its very tricky and you have to be good with your controls to do it

you can get on another roof in thta map too. Go to the stairs acrooss from the walkway in the center court have a teammate kneel hop on his back both stand go to the ledge and walk to the oppisite roof. Not many know about this one, I always chuck a grenade up in those spots just to see if someones up there b4 walking into the court.

If you can just jump on the wire and then run to the roof , is it a glitch ? Anyway , I was on a free for all server and saw two players float through the air . There was no way the could have jumped that high , I mean they were way above the rooftops . WTF !?

So that's how that guy did it. I was playing in Souther France the other night as well, and a sniper hit me from the telephone wires. Is it really a glitch? Because it seems pretty easy to get up there. biggrin:

People were ment to get on the roof by the telephone wire. it's one of the few roofs that is textureed.
I don't think anyone should get on a roof that requires buddy stack though.

I know what you are talking about. We sometimes have our server host play with the gravity for fun. You have to use the rcon commands to change the gravity and the run speed so you can fly. We dont do it all the time, but it is funny to fly one min, then crater the next.

Well, i saw someone BEHIND the gate in the courtyard. They had a buddy help hoist them up and they were behing the wall. Now that is a cheat.....it wasn't meant to be accessible.

Next time you're in a map and something doesn't feel right, go to "spectator" mode and watch the offender and his methods. You'll be suprised at how much you learn.

i personaly think that the telophone wire trick isn't a cheat because it has it's own texture for the top of the roof. Also people who call it a glitch or cheatin are just pissed because they cant do it them selfs. I only do it durring a free for all with at least 32 people because durring a team match it takes much more patients to wait for the enimy to come in your sites. fire M16: fire2: M16: fire2: M16: 2:

It's amazing the things you can get on when you have someone to jump on. With a buddy, you can get onto the roofs in Remagen. Me and a couple of dudes tried that one, and you can also get onto another roof in Southern France. There are probably tons more.

Yeah well, I'll make sure to have my scope on you the next time you and your buddies decide to roof hop.
