Sten Gun/Bren Gun
 

Hello! I've seen some really great weapons mods out there, (and some not so good,) but I've been searching for a British Sten gun to replace the Thompson, and possibly even a Bren gun to replace the BAR, to arm my Tommies w/, but to no avail...any chance of some brilliant artist out there coming to my aid??? no can do buddy. We cant get models and animations in-game without the SDK. So, i dont know what gun "mods" your talking about. Skins are the only thing that can be done, but i dont know how your going to turn an M1A1 Thompson Sub Machine gun into a stamped sheet metal sten...and a BAR into a Bren. Its just not possiable. The only thing i think your talking about is changeing the rate of fire of the gun and the sound..but in a way thats cheating....so, sorry to burst ur bubble...

Once the SDK is released you will be able to use custom models for guns already used.
I believe the sten will be in the expansion pack.

If you dont know what the SDK is..
The SDK will allow people to take the models they have made in a seperate program and inport them over to moh (q3a) engine.
So they can be used.

Usually most games have there form of SDK available when the game is released..
EA did not do this, but they say it wil be released once the expansion is released.

I for some reason think ea will take their merry little time making the SDK.

If they release the SDK, people can make their own expansions and EA can't sell any more. I think we have enough to edit as it is; I don't want another Counter-stike...

I hope they release a means of editing the stock maps. though.

Ya, true, but counterstrike is STILL FREEAKING ALIVE! I know people galore that play that game LOL
