This game is starting to piss me off..
 

Over the months I've gotten pretty good at this game, but the whole lack of developer support thing is starting to really piss me off. mad: I was just surfing through the map download section and I saw some REALLY nice maps, and skins. What gets to me is that such well done maps cannot be played because the ability to grab the map from the server you are playing on just does not exist. I'm so frustrated, and to top it off, we hardly hear anything about the expansion or when that's going to be out. I REALLY hope Electronic Arts gets their act together.

Thats why i left MOH for bf1942 lack of support and such. I also left because i was tired of hearing you cheater you have an aimbot, you fu....g wallhacker, you have a bright skin dont you? And the constant crying of you rocket pussy you MG whore. I doubt EA will do anything seeing that BF has come out and there goign to devote there full attention to that game.

all i can say is.....oh well.

the game was fun for awhile but since EA are being little cave men, i guess it will bomb out like other shitty games.

let them have their BF1942....

i really enjoyed bf 1942 mp demo....i wish i had the moola to upgrade my ram...my system just cant handle bf 1942, when i do i will get it.


heh i had to add that i will never stop playing mohaa its just too friggin cool. i love it, and the cheating and whining can be dealt with.

Do we know this for fact? I don't want to see this turn into a BF1942 rumor.
B4 BF1942 was released

"hey, this will be the easiest game to mod. They will be releasing all the tools with the game, They will be releasing the SDK with the game. This game will be a modders paradise"

After BF1942 was released.

"What happened to the SDK, where's the maps editor, How come I cant open the damn files to mod them"

All I'm saying is we don't have any proof. That we will not be able to play current maps. The problem is we don't know much about the EXP. If an SDK is released with the EXP then I would assume ( yes I know what can happen when I assume something from EA )all current maps will work.

Let just hope they do, and EA get's of their butts and starts letting us in on their little game.

I'm no mapper/modder/skinner, but let me see if I understand this right. You're saying that the exp pack will modify the game in such a way as to eliminate all custom maps. Wouldn't that include some of the maps that they got from the community? Not only that, but as far as I know it, unless the map has scripting in such a way that actually modifies parts of the game (ctf or vehicles maybe), then they're just maps. Nothing specific about them that could be eliminated from servers due to a patch. And even those that we may love that have modified portions of game play wouldn't add up to all of the maps you're claiming.

Here's what I suggest. Since none of us truely know what's in store when the exp comes out, let's hold back on the rumours of what will happen until we've actually seen what will happen.

As for everyone getting pissed off or bored to tears with the game, I'm just sick to death of all this. If you're truely tired of the game, then there are plenty of other entertaining options in the world you can turn your attention to. I for one am tired of hearing all the complaining that's been going on lately - they're cheaters; we're not cheaters, they just suck; EA sucks; blah blah blah... It's never ending, and some of us are still trying to enjoy a game that has plenty of potential even without support from EA.

I know this is nothing but flamebait to most of you, but really... Try to perk up, or find another hobby. No one's forcing you to shell out any cash for anything, so buy or don't - no one will think less of you either way. At least the honorable people won't.
